Rayman Legends Remake Dubbed 'Retold' Leaks Online

It's been known for a while that Ubisoft is unofficially working on a Rayman Legends Remake, and the 'Retold' leak confirms this.

Insider Gaming understands that the reveal of Rayman Legends: Retold, AKA Project Steambot, is expected within the next week and that the game is scheduled to release on October 1, 2026.

Legends is already perfection. So, I don't know what a remake entails.

This game did not need a remake. But I get why they're doing it.

Maybe if it sells well enough, we'll eventually get a new game.

It needs to have significant changes, if it's just graphics there's no point because it looks great as is.

Problem is if they do make big changes there is a high risk they make something worse than the excellent original.

I mean I'm still going to play it but ubisoft really are mental.

There's absolutely no reason for this to be remade.

It's for consoles I guess. The original title is stuck on 360* and PS3.

*=technically it's backwards compatible on Series X.

It's on PS4 and its still downloadable on PSN

What more could they do to it aside from bumping up the resolution to 4K (which wouldn't be noticeable anyway unless you're a NG+ high level autist). The artstyle alone makes the thing timeless and the framerate is also just fine.

Oops, you are right I was thinking of Rayman Origins. Apologies.

I take back what I said then, there's no reason for this to actually exist lol.
