We are post Ike now. Civil War seems to have a much bigger budget then previous movies. Marvel is probably done cheaping out now.

We shall see, I always heard that Fiege was a different side of the same coin as ol' Ike.

Time will tell.

What if Tony marries Aunt May then he dies.

TONY IS THE NEW UNCLE BEN

MARVEEEEEEEEEEELLLLLLLLLLLL

Tony Stark Killed Uncle Ben With The Jericho

It's all connected

He wanted him out of the way so he could get back with May.

I fucking see you, Stark. YOU AIN'T SLICK. BOB WAS RIGHT.

Really not sure if this is still the case, for example, we havent seen Spidey earlier since they needed to sort the Merchandise money with Sony.
Sony would be stupid of they hadnt renegotiated that.

Sony was desperate to get Spidey into the MCU after the clusterfuck that was the ASM franchise. They didn't have the advantage in those negotiations.

If he's co-starring in an Iron Man and Spider-Man adventure then sure. If it's a "hey, how are you doin'" cameo?

Ehhhh.
If it's making news, it's probably gonna be something substantial. Otherwise, it would be an end credits cameo we wouldn't even know about.

Wasn't it due to some clause that Sony had to make a Spider Man film within a certain time line to hold the rights as well?

SPOILERS, Marvel!!! Now we know who wins Civil War?

Is this one of those things where someone tries to start a rumor by pretending they heard the rumor elsewhere?

Every 7 years, but Sony had plenty of movies planned within that period post-ASM2. ASM2's box office and critical reception are what most likely pushed them towards the deal.

Yes. Fox also has a clause with the Marvel properties they have the rights to. (This is also why they lost Daredevil.)

Sony rushed out the ASM reboot when Raimi made it clear that he wouldn't be able to get Spider-Man 4 out in a timely manner.

Did anyone really think they were going to kill off Tony Stark, their biggest (or co-biggest) star, before the Infinity War grand finale? C'mon.

This is getting ridiculous. I like the Avengers cast but frankly Spiderman better away from all that. Theres just too much going on now and far too much crossover. Ruining the fun.

Would have been a nice twist on the comics to have the villain die this time.

Now it's probably Captain America that dies.
