RE4, DMC3:SE and Onimusha on PC from Ubisoft!

I hope RE4 PC has all the extras from the PS2 version.

Should be fun playing the game with key/mouse. Or I can always use my 360 pad! :D

Since the others are PS2 ports, it has a 70% chance of happening. But this is a Capcom game, though, so you never really know what version you're gonna get! :lol

Oh man this is great news. Still, I'm bummed out...if we can get a port of RE4 for the PC, why the fuck can't we get a PC version of F-ZeroGX :(

OR MARIO OR ZELDA OR METROID

Ugh.

just played the onimusha 3 demo and it was fine,no slowdown no jaggies but the old style resident evil control scheme is really bad and the textures are clearly ps2,but it does look noticeably better and i'll be perfectly happy if re4 and dmc3 look similar.

The PC version still has only the old RE styled control scheme? The PS2 version had full analog option.

Ummmm, how do you play the Oni 3 demo?

It says PRESS START BUTTON.

My key/mouse does not have a start button last time I checked. Oh capcom ftw!

Enter?

As far back as my memory goes all console ports use START = ENTER, SELECT = SPACEBAR keys.

ooops i was a bit hasty there,it appears to have 2 control schemes.with the dpad u get the old style resident evil control style and with analogue u get the full analogue option :)

I just plugged in my gamepad and the control worked automatically (and perfectly)--it doesn't look like the demo lets you configure buttons, though.

I also didn't have any graphics problems or anything...the framerate was absolutely perfect and in general the game just looked plain better than the PS2 version.

What's all this talk about Oni3 being a bad port? It ran flawlessly, beyond flawlessly, on my mid range PC. Controls were fine too, on my USB gamepad ($10 dual shock 2 ripoff from EB).

What pad do you use? I can't get my duke to work... =(

I used the Saitek P880 dual analog pad. Hopefully the full game will have wider gamepad support if yours doesn't work for the demo.

DMC3 on my PC?

Is that less of a reason for the only person without a PS2 to own one?

(Sorry, but I already have a GCN and an XBox, this is pretty nice for a guy like me.)

One US copy, please.

I thought the Onimusha demo ran great, didn't even have to set up my pad, though I wasn't a fan of the window...

I wonder how you will control RE4 on PC, I'm thinking something like arrow keys/awsd keys to move, mouse to look (like in FPS's), right click and hold mouse to go into weapon firing mode, left click to shoot. The events where you have to quickly press a button, like running away from and dodging boulders is gonna be tricky.

Cool news. RE4 will play pretty well on a kb+mouse setup
Having spent 100 plus hours with it across two versions, I actually think the quicker and more accurate PC controls could take away the already pretty minimal challenge level of the game.

Is Onimusha 3 graphically better on the PC than on the original PS2 version? MGS2 PC has problems, like rain. Weren't there some issues with Silent Hill 2 PC/Xbox too? Interested in knowing if Oni3 and DMC3SE will be technically better on the PC and can use gamepads. PC RE4 will likely be the best version(GC+PS2).

Anyone in Japan can tell me what kind of boxes are these? Cardboard or plastic?

I have been playing Onimusha 3 PC for a while (completed the main game and now messing with the extras), 1280 resolution, 2xAA 8xAF, smooth 60 fps action with zero slowdown, my PS2-to-USB adapter works like a dream (no need to configure anything).
