Too slow and heavy. Lose your balance and you're basically a turtle on its back. The bat suit in the video is lightweight and flexible.

Plate armour was extremely light and flexible. I've seen people sprinting in it.

No good against bullets though.

Here's some Aussies evolving combat suits IRL for unified weapons combat, similar to MMA/UFC but with weapons. They have some amazing suits that provide serious mobility and protection.
