I do thank you! :)

God I look so fucking high.

I was going to say you look fucking happy. Like, seriously happy. It's a good expression. :)

No fair posting food pics when I'm on a fast day!

Sorry! How long are you fasting for?

Everytime you make something you have at least on ingredient I have never heard of.

*googles leeks*

ah an onion garlic type plant.

How have you not heard of leeks?! I'm beginning to suspect that you only eat fast food, Count.

Can't say that I have.

Lot of chicken breast, tuna , rice, pasta and beans. I really am pretty simple when it comes to food. I should take some classes and expand my foody horizons.

More food knowledge makes for more fun food time. Just hit the veg aisle and buy 3 things you've never heard of before, google a recipe and try them. It's an adventure!

Wtf is a leek? Lol

Oh my god, another one! :O

hiro's pizza looks fucking daaaaaank. i'm hungry. again.

Is dank good? It's good, right? There's bacon on this sucker, so it must be good. ^_^

You're gonna hate me but I was that kid that hated vegetables....and still haven't grown out of it. I will occasionally eat a salad(spinach), a baked potato or baby carrots. But I cannot stand steam veggies. and tend to stick to meat and cheese on anything I eat(not even sauce). I have always been a finicky eater, but I'm getting better about it.

Just 24 hours. Once a week from noon to noon. Has really given my weight loss a boost since I started it in December. Hats off to the GAF weight loss thread for introducing me to the idea.

You got a place I can read up on this? benefits etc...I would love to start this up.

While new vegetables are fun, nothing is better than trying a new meat and realizing it's amazing. Especially when it's cheap, to boot.

I had frog legs for the first time a few weeks ago at an Asian buffet. It wasn't bad but i think I'll stick to chicken.

I'm actually kind of similar. I'm not a big fan of greens. While I don't hate them I have no real urge to eat them.

In food news, here's something else delicious:

Leek/bacon/mushroom/eggy pizza on rosemary dough with parmesan on top!

How did you make the crust?

If there's an egg on top of a pizza, I prefer it when the yolk is runny.

Wow. Never heard of that, but asserting control over your food intake sounds like an empowering way to improve weight loss. Very cool, and good luck with your program!

Not at all. I didn't really start to like anything either until college. My upbringing (as I mentioned earlier) was all crap like beans and stovetop stuffing. I didn't know things could taste good. Eating at finer restaurants really did wonders, too. Definitely more veg would help your weight loss.

So true! This is why I'd LOVE to do a gaf dinner party! New food and drink would flow. Ahhhh....

Off topic and I hate to dare bring gaming up in a RP thread but I just beat assassins creed revelations. I kinda have to say "meh" at the ending. It didn't have nearly the profoundness that the ending of brotherhood had. Kinda disappointed.

Do any of us here use epicurious? I've been meaning to explore new recipes, especially desserts!

I just beat Deus Ex and felt the same way.

I think Revelations is actually a bad game (totally ignore that I got full achievement score in it, I do that with every AC game).

Boring story, boring city, really bad new mechanics

This is actually where it could have improved exponentially. I just used instant pillsbury dough (15 mins bake), but I did rub it down with olive oil and sprinkled rosemary/kosher salt on the top and bottom first.

Haven't, but I've heard good things about it. And cute baby picture from you too. My parents never bothered to take any of me. :P

Super simple and excruciatingly delicious dessert. Melt white chocolate fondue style then dip fresh blackberries in it. You will have a mouthgasm from delicious overload.

Take it one step further to my personal favorite recipe I came up with. Blackberry and white chocolate bread pudding. Fucking fantastic.

I kinda have to agree. I loved 2 and was equally impressed with brotherhood. This one kind of irked me. And old Ezio looked like a gorilla with a hood on. What bothered me most was there was really no pull to explore the city like the previous 2. I just didn't care so I blasted through the story. There wasn't enough side quest type stuff to engage you. And don't get me started on that fucking tower defense minigame

Coming back to this... white chocolate goes with blackberries? Interesting. I'll have to try that sometime.

Interestingly enough, I'm trying to figure out a way to grow blackberries indoors using aeroponics.

Yeah I really need to sub carbs for veggies for dinner.

Here is a good place to learn. I'm just getting into it and it's actually easier to do than I originally thought once I switched to a high protein low carb diet. I really don't feel hungry until the last 4 or 5 hours.

Thanks man will look into this. I once tried a "vegan" diet for a week and made it through easy enough to spite being absolutely useless with vegan cooking and basically eating bananas and oranges for a week.

I never thought the two would compliment each other but they do fantastically. It seriously is one of the most amazing things I've had in my mouth, and I have had a lot in there.

I thought that stuff only works temporarily. When you're body thinks you're 'starving', it goes into starvation mode. Burn off less, store more.

White chocolate has such a mild flavor it goes with pretty much anything. I love all those Japanese flavored chocolates that are pretty much white chocolate with dehydrated fruit juices added. Lotte's bartlett pear chocolate was the greatest. I wish it still existed :(

That's very true. It does tend to pair well with lots of things. Well, except for savory items.
