I work at Play-Well TEKnologies. It's an kids education company where we use Lego to teach engineering and physics principles to kids! I do front desk stuff and teach the Jedi Engineering class.
I saw this in the window when I went in for my interview and at that moment I knew I was going to get the job

There are lots of things I'm lucky and grateful to have. I've been an ungrateful asshole most of my life but I'm trying really hard to appreciate the little things I'm lucky to have. Have to be grateful man, we're all alive and well and anything is possible.
im going to assume (probably wrongly) that most of us are in our 20s - early 30s. at that time, when we were coming up out of grade/middle school, our futures were lined out for us. go to HS, graduate. go to college, fuck around, pick a major, get a degree. HAVE A CAREER GUARANTEED. have RETIREMENT guaranteed. at least where i grew up, that was the plan, and that was what we were taught.

where the irony comes in, is that me, a kid with only a G.E.D (kicked out of highschool) is at least partially in charge of hiring people for my restaurant/company. and 3/4 of them have legit degrees from the legit university in this state. and they want to be DISHWASHERS. and i get to slash their names off of a list. hahahahah.
This generation won't be spewing this story to its kids that's for sure.
It'll be fun to see where it all goes.
and i can't help but think that that might be a good thing. it's gonna break some hearts. it's gonna fuck up some shit, especially for people of our CURRENT generation..
but it's better to know it.
edit: what will we teach our kids, though? what lesson has been learned?

Anybody ever tried this stuff? It taste pretty horrible but it definitely has me jacked up.
oh and I am attending a friend's wedding tomorrow. She's a good girl so I think I'll refrain from entertaining the guest with fire. Drunken antics on the other hand...not so sure.
