Real Pic January! | OT2 | The Enrealening

Thats right. Its 48 degrees Fahrenheit outside and I'm grilling cheeseburgers topped with a slice of fresh provolone. Why? Because I'm grillin and not a single fuck was given.

Now, time to put them on my whole wheat buns adorned with light mayo, srirachi, lettuce, and banana peppers.
 
I just made two chorizo con papas burritos using the soft taco sized tortillas...

when I use the fajita sized flour tortillas for burritos, I call them "mexican sliders"...maybe I'll make some tomorrow.

That sounds awesome. Chorizo is one of my favorite meats. A little hole in the wall place here makes awesome burros with chorizo, papas, queso y juevos... I always like to get some avocado in mine to add a little more flavor. Their salsa inside of it is fantastic. I'd go for one right now but those burgers filled me up.

It is a show that works best without the canned laughter. They experimented with it and then dropped it. I think it was added again at a later date though. It annoys me to no end. I'm not quite certain if this is a local recipe or not, but I'm what I'm doing is basically the following:

Cook pasta such that it's 3-5 mins undercooked.
Mix in with bolognese (or your favourite sauce, preferably meat based) - I add sundried tomatoes and pepper covered goat cheese (also a local thing I think)
Throw in a couple of eggs to help it bind
Put in a dish
Cover that bitch in grated cheese (parmesan is best)
Throw in oven at 225-250C in the oven for 30-45 mins.

DELICIOUS.

Some ideas thrown around here and there. I'll probably still make rounds in IRC / TC. Keeping this avatar because I like it. As far as participating on some large scale or in another thread I don't think it's necessary. I'm open to ideas though.

Some are bailing, some would like an OT3 Feb edition (only with the blessing of the mods, of course), some suggest bending other threads to our collective RP will, and others have suggested another social-esque thread where we could just keep the theme going without actually making it an 'RP' thread necessarily. And jasonng would personally like it to die a fiery death. ;)

Try to get chorizo con paps by itself and get some over-easy eggs on the size. Break the egg yoke over the chorizo con papas, and thank me later :) But yeah mexican breakfast style burritos <3
 
I don't even have a regular persona to go back to. RPJ coincided with me changing my nick so it's like I'm a fresh face.

I'd be happy to put the box back on my head if my face is causing you undue emotional strife, but I LIKE seeing other people's faces when I 'talk' to them.

no, stop. i came in here as a critic. i remain so. i like you guys. i could've liked you before. the fact that you're hesitant to leave your really faces behind speaks to a lack of substance in what you actually have to say.

test: you like seeing my face? why? who would like seeing my face? it's skin stretched over a skull with fierce eyeballs. it shows an aspect of me that was captured in one second in one minute quite a while ago. that's not "me". your avatar is not "you". it's you trying to look coy at a camera.
 
I'm not completely opposed to moving it to Community where things like this can continue, but I'm not ignorant to the fact that it'll die a slow death over there and eventually be moved to archives.

I think we got lucky with our January chat thread, if we OT3'd it for Feb, we'd probably get shut down.

Why does it have to be this as opposed to we're comfortable with having our faces up and enjoy seeing the real people behind the avatars?

Usually having a cartoon avatar, etc, speaks of a lack of accountability in what you have to say. Living under a persona, if you will, but you still find the real pics more offensive somehow? Nothing has changed in my posting style since taking the box off.

Well, I've seen that series without. It's a different experience without it. If you watch a few episodes you'll understand. It's not your typical comedy show. At some point they added it to the show again.

As the series progresses it gets more twisted. lol
 
How about we switch to RPChallenges.

Forget the avatars, we'll just think of a topic and everyone post pics of themselves doing it kinda like the stuff on head challenge. Outrageousness beats all. Challenge lasts for 18000 posts with 2000 posts for voting. (Or something)

Winner get's to choose next challenge.

but... nothing has changed in your posting style, you say. i believe that. but if we could map out your post distribution over the past month, you've only posted in this thread, and that's it. you posted in drunk thread once. 99% of your posts are concentrated here with the other "rp" gaf kids. you refer to yourself as "we". "we like this, we like that".. that's why this shit has gotta go.

I hate to say this on account that you have a pint of Guinness on your head, but BRILLIANT!

I like that idea =) Although, the voting at 18k would take a LOOOOONG time, I think. This thread opened midway through the month and its not near that mark anymore. A thread like that would take several months to hit its limit.
 
That's cause RP GAF is best GAF. Why would anyone settle for anything else?
