Disagreed, I normally lurk GAF because it seems like the 'winners' here are the ones who can shout the loudest and post the most aggressively. I post in food threads and some tech threads rarely. This is the first thread that ever made me want to post more than once or twice a day and thats simply because its WAAY more in your face friendly than most other threads here. I'm going back to lurker status after this month probably.

edit: point being the realpics have something to do with that.

I agree with you coldvein, I think we need to go back to normal avatars at the end of the month... but I don't think this thread has been a bad thing for GAF in any way. Hell, I would never have associated some of the posters in this thread as actual people until seeing a picture attached to their posts. My Monkeysphere has increased.

Also sometimes I absolutely hate my job. See you at home RP GAF, time to open up some Chocolate Wine and drown my job related stress in family, booze, and Skyrim. In that order.
 
I'm an NHL-Gaf and drunk thread aficionado and this thread is the total opposite of those. I know the purpose of those threads but I'm still trying to figure out what the hell this is. It's not a big deal though because it's happy and fun in here..... feels good man.

to you, 99% of people in here were nobody. now they are somebody. and that's why people are flailing about switching back to regular avs. they'd go back to being NOBODY to you, marrec.

Just wrote a small review on the Circle Pad Pro for my site. I needed to do some content today (trying to do a post a day at least) and I hadn't finished my Asura's Wrath demo write up (mostly consisting of "I thought this would suck going by what I head some people say but then I tried this and WOAH IM PLAYING AN EPISODE OF DRAGON BALL Z" so far).
RE:Revelations is pretty cool though so far. I'm liking the controls more with the CPP than without so the CPP has that going for it.

I buy redesigns, but I never bother waiting for them.

Unless redesigns fix your one major sticking point that is a make-or-break deal, the cost difference is offset by the enjoyment I get from the games.

Pretty much this. Just sale the old equipment if need be or keep it around for collection purposes.
 
To tell you guys the truth, I think cold vein is on to something. I think we need all need to switch to Pony avatars for next month. It's a great idea.

I've had glasses since I was 6 MONTHS.

Oddly enough, I don't see that terribly. Everything looks fine without them.

Though I really like sentry's portal theme.
