Before/After?

I've worked a few different construction jobs and I always loved seeing the progress pics when you finish a job. The best was when I laid pipe for a living(lol it never gets old) and we put in all of the water/sewer/etc pipes for a local fire dept. Seeing what used to be a dirt lot turn into a firestation is pretty fkn amazing.

This one probably IS edited, but it's real in the sense it's actually on walls as theaters as a "real" image, not Internet made... but for some reason it screws with my brain.

Photoshop.

This was the original shop. They changed it after people spotted the shopping (notice the necks):

that's not photoshopped? why is her arm/hand see through/disappearing?

edit: I'm probably being dumb and its the girl behind showing through the mirror...but some of the ones earlier were modified right?

^ i cant make it look real :(
You can't see it as an illusion, or you can't see it as giant piece of metal wire sitting on the top of a hill?

"What looks like two photographs put together is actually a single, untouched shot taken by Emily, the blonde on the left. The left side shows a mirror, reflecting EmilyÂ’s image back to the camera, and at right is her friend Alisha, seen through clear glass. The ghostly hand and arm in the photo are part of EmilyÂ’s barely visible reflection on the glass."

Then how is it done? With really awesome body paint or a cheap insta-painting filter in Photoshop

check the link i posted above. it has some shots showing how the artist achieves the illusion.

My housemate has this sitting in our lounge room and I've grown quite tired of people fussing over it.

I have that thing at home too. I didn't put it in a terribly visible place though. It's on the bar in the kitchen, among the other wines and liquor. Putting it in the lounge would be too much "OMG LOOK AT WHAT I'VE GOT".

In contribution of this topic, I present thee Street-Art:

This dude is amazing, IMHO.

Here's the painting, seen from above:

I got a laugh out that picture when I first saw it. Perfect picture capturing his, and I'm sure anyone else who caught him in the corner of their eye's, first reaction.
