Really, REALLY, weird and unexplained moments in gaming.

In Majora Mask, the first time you gain Link's control you are in a kind of cave or underground, and in a corner there is a pile of junk in that place. The silhouette of a apparently dead animal is seen there. Is Epona?

In the jet ski game SplashDown for Xbox and PS2 if you leave the course and drive out into the endless water a sea monster tentacle will appear, drag you underwater and fling you back into the map. It was the most surreal shit when it just happened out the blue. There's video on youtube.

There's a gossip stone that all but outright says that the Epona on Romani Ranch is Link's Epona.

This one has bothered me since I was a kid....

On the NES version of Ninja Gaiden 2, at the end Irene dies and Ryu's Dragon Sword literally transforms into a ball of light and flies into Irene...bringing her back to life. Ok, so Irene lives but no more Dragon Sword.

However, in Ninja Gaiden 3 (NES) you have the Dragon Sword again. How?!

Was Legion a unique Geth and why?

He seemed far more independent than the other Geth and a little more aware of self.

Also did he have a fascination/admiration with Shepard that they seemed to hint at and if so how and why?

Every scene in Killer7 could fit into this tread, but for the most part you can kind of puzzle out what each scene is going for if you're willing to dig into it.

Mithra's appearance in Chapter 5, on the other hand, completely loses me. This is probably because it's a remnant of the original plan to connect Killer7 with the "kill the past" series but it's still awkward in context.

Also on the topic of Killer 7, the very first boss you fight is some kind of weird angel lady whose wings you have to shoot off. Now, at first this doesn't seem that strange, it's pretty in keeping with the surreal, dream-like quality of the game. But every other boss you fight in the game, even those that are Heaven's Smiles, are still distinctly humanoid. In various stages of fucked-upness, yes, but still identifiably human. There is no other situation in the game where you fight something even resembling a giant angel. Even the regular Heaven's Smiles, who are clearly monstrous, never have any sort of Angel theming. She's just her own thing.

Also, Emir's third eye. It's important, but exactly why he has psychic powers to begin with is never discussed. And I'm not sure it's metaphorical either, it reads like he had a legitimate third eye in his forehead. And why the American government is entirely run by voting that occurs at a random Elementary School in Washington State but I'm more than willing to just chalk that up to Suda just being weird.

Ninja Gaiden III: The Ancient Ship of Doom takes place between Ninja Gaiden and Ninja Gaiden II: The Dark Sword of Chaos. This is clearly stated in the manual.

It's very much implied that Legion
may have been the very first Geth to gain true sentience. Or at least the one that first questioned the Quarians.
That could explain why he seems a bit more "with it" than the other Geth.

I always thought this might be possible but wasn't sure as it was never confirmed.
It would have been interesting had they explored that a little further

Also, now I feel even more guilty for choosing the
destroy
ending. Forgive me Legion, I had no other choice (that made sense for my Shepard) :(

When playing Looney Tunes B-ball on SNES, how the hell was Daffy Duck able to knock the ball out my hands when I went for a lay-up with Marvin the Martian???

I mean he's THE Martian......that just doesn't make sense.

I swear on Spider-Man's name that my Pikachu evolved into a Raichu without the use of a Thunder Stone. Red version. I was in that town where Koga was the gym leader, on my way down to the beach. I fought a wild Pokemon, I think, or maybe it was a trainer. My Pikachu leveled up to 52, and it evolved into a Raichu.

Obviously, I have no way of proving this, but I swear it happened. At the time, I didn't even know Pikachu needed a Thunder Stone to evolve.
