What a top of the page post Bayonetta!

Don't let me lie to you, I still got my Tenchi Muyo VHS tapes squirreled away somewhere... I just haven't watched at Anime more recent than Darker Than Black.

Hell, I just recently bought Lain on Bluray and my fucking god does it look and sound good on Bluray.

Humanity has declined is on CR, thats first I guess only 12 episodes.

Also right now ladies and gents I have reached a milestone, im sure you can guess what, but if not im sure you will work it out.

Shower me with praise. x

You learned Japanese by only watching anime?

You read every single post in this thread, start to finish, and maintained your composure?

Edit: Bento has got to be correct

In lieu of current anime I just play questionable shit on my Vita I think that counts.

Trails of Cold Steel is basically anime.

I've long held that my JRPGs are blatantly anime anyway, from FFVII to...

...

...I haven't played a new JRPG in years, have I?

Life will resume at the end of the week.

If i manage to survive long enough.

I'm rooting for you Silph, you're in my nonexistent prayers.

The dirty little secret of jRPGs is that Falcom has been making better games than Square for the better part of a decade but they hardly ever come to the US.

I've gotta head back into TitS. I got like an hour into it but life fell apart and I don't react well to life falling apart re: games I'm playing at the time. I inevitably drop them as a result. This was about seven months ago... enough time has passed that I feel just about ready to restart it.

It was charming as hell for that hour. Very Suikoden.

If you actually enjoyed that hour then you'll be blown away by the rest of the game. The first 10-15 hours of TitS are super slow but once it kicks into gear it is unsurpassed.

....which works like shit, as I found out the first time I tracked her (she had apparently left it at home) and it showed as in the middle of the giant as river near us. My heart nearly leapt out of my chest until I called home and the watch was laying on her dresser. Gah. (She was at school and fine)

Holy gobrino. That's terrifying.

Ha, I mean, my favorite game is Xenogears and that one's pretty slow in the beginning. Granted, probably not as slow. But pretty slow. I had people tellin' me what you just told me -- it gets faster, don't worry! It gets faster, we promise! So I'm sure I'll be fine. :3

Last post, hopefully, but something I wanted to share with you guys:

My daughter is eight, and we got phones for both the boys (10 and 12). Mostly because they have over an hour bus ride each way to go to school, so if something goes wrong, we want them to be able to call us right away ya know?

Anyhow, so the daughter wanted one too, and she isn't very responsible, so we got her this watch thing. It allows her to call me or the hubby, and only receives calls from a preapproved list. It also has a tracking feature.

....which works like shit, as I found out the first time I tracked her (she had apparently left it at home) and it showed as in the middle of the giant ass death river near us. My heart nearly leapt out of my chest until I called home and the watch was laying on her dresser. Gah. (She was at school and fine)

LOL, sounds like a car's GPS. Still, it can't be a good feeling thinking your daughter is in the river.

ouch, yeah that doesn't sound comforting at all.
Must have been horrible seeing that.

I am sure if we lived in an area that didn't drop 75% of my calls (ask Marrec, it's fucking horrid) it would work just fine, but god damn, WARN A GIRL.

75? Do you live in the desert? When i was in Flagstaff, Arizona for two months I had some real problems. Granted that's more of a... forest-y desert. But everyone told me it was awful further out.
