I know the series has a decent following here, so I thought everyone might want to read this.

ReBoot is a great show that's had some bad luck on DVD. It ran for 3 seasons, followed by two TV movies (which are sometimes called "season 4"), for a total of 39 episode, plus the two movies (or 8 episodes). The first two seasons have never made it to DVD, the third season came out on 4 discs (16 episodes), and the two movies were released on another. What a mess, which is why we jumped up and down when we heard a strong rumor that the entire run of the series is being prepped for release on DVD, including the never-before-released first two seasons (which, we believe, were owned by Universal Studios).

Unfortunately we don't have anything more than that for now, but we're nearly certain this release will happen (the info came from a contact that hasn't steered us wrong before).

It's just a rumor right now, but TvShowsonDVD has some good, reliable sources. There's a pretty good chance it'll happen.

This has to come out for bluray, it should be easy. Fan of the pre-"mature" arc more.
It would be awesome if they rerendered the series in 1080p but I don't think it's going to happen. I don't think the ROI would justify that kind of remastering.

That's assuming they even have all the assets for the show left. It's a pretty old show. They might have deleted everything by now.

This?

Holy shit this brings back memories. I remember this show when I was a kid. It was AWESOME. Used to watch it on CITV all the bloody time.

Alpha Numeric!

Maybe this is being done due to the movie coming soon. Speaking of which, has their been anything new on the movie?

I use to watch this show every Saturday. I liked it but it was as if they showed the same episode every other week.

Updated CG and effects please...The technical side of myself is cringing at the thought of sitting through this, but of course the retarded nostalgia side is giddy with glee.

Haven't seen this since back in the day, but I have to imagine that if I youtube'd an episode, I'd be horribly disappointed.

Has it REALLY stood the test of time? Even back then, I remember it being a decent bit cheesy, even if I enjoyed it enough... I'd be surprised if true

The first season and a half is kind of "Eh".
The rest is still pretty good.

I'd say it's even better now since it's easier to understand all the computer references that probably flew over our heads as kids.

Show was atrocious and the animation was painful to watch. I have no clue how someone could be a fan.

I liked the characters. The animation is now dated, but I don't remember it being poorly done.

Dude it was cutting edge for it's time.

Man I would kill for them to make another movie to pick up from where they left off and give the series an true ending
