So at least 3 / 4 years at this point -- I presume Rockstar San Diego helped out with GTA V then? Given Red Dead Redemption released in 2010.

From what I remember Rockstar SD assisted on the driving aspect of GTA V, I doubt that required the entire staff to handle. This game has probably been in the works at some level for five, if not nearly six years already.
