Red Dead Redemption |BC OT| Backwards in the Saddle Again

The original version is the best version, but this live performance of Deadman's Gun is great.

BTW, for any of you first timers, I recommend you don't listen to the song prior to finishing the game. It's a gem best discovered in the credits.

Really looking forward to finishing this game--only played a few hours of it when it first came out.

I think the fact that we have a backwards compatibility OT for a 6 year old game should be justification for said game to be remastered.

Only played a few hours of it on PS3 a little after it came out and really enjoyed what I played but did not have time. Loved the little I played of it though so I can't wait to pick it up.

Backwards Compatibility FTW

I had a lot going on when this game first came out and only spent about 8 hours with it and then ended moving onto other games. So I am looking forward to this. When it was playable earlier in the year due to that bug I was really enjoying what I played, so looking forward to it. I also bought the undead add-on and all the free add-on's they have on xbox.com right now. Ready to go. Only negative is that I am leaving for a 10 days on vacation Sunday, so will only have Friday/Saturday to play until I get back, but just glad it finally was approved and released.

Now give me Lost Odyssey, PGR 3 & 4, Blue Dragon and Mass Effect 2 & 3 and I will be set as far as BC.

I got this game at its midnight release over 6 years ago when I was still in undergrad. I played until at least 4 in the morning. If this game releases at midnight I'm going to do it again. It's so awesome we get to experience this game again.

I have somehow managed to never so much as play this game even though i bought it for my cousins as a gift years ago...

This seems like as good a time as any for a first playthrough!

Man BC is one of the best parts of Xbox this gen. Past Microsoft never would've done this. Glad they did this gen though!

Thanks for the OT, OP.

What other games do y'all think would be popular enough to warrant an OT? So far it's just been this and Black Ops right?

It was going to be Bioshock before the collection was announced

Call of Duty: Black Ops and Red Dead Redemption are probably the biggest. Maybe if Modern Warfare 2 and Black Ops 2 also release on BC, but I doubt it since if Modern Warfare Remastered is popular, Activision will probably remake the others to sell instead.

I absolutely wouldn't let my theoretical 11 year old play this game. Then again, I played Mortal Kombat as a kid and I turned out okay I guess.

I'd say the kid would run a high risk of being a fedora tipper when he enters high school though.

How bad is this for an 11 yr old?
This is me and my son 6 years ago.

I am excited to share the game with him now. I plan to let him mess around in the open world, supervised. The campaign is rough, so depends on your parenting philosophy.
