Yeah, it's server based. Stopped at 30, and its still there. Hopefully, it'll be smoother getting into games because it's still bugged in and out of menus. But unlocks, titles, level - it's all there.

It's not true. If you use a disc, you still download the same file digital owners use to play the game. On XB1, the 360 disc is simply used to authenticate your ownership of the game.

you need to use a 360 to upload your save to the cloud so the xbox one can get it.

You need to force your Xbox to redownload settings file by doing a hard restart (you can do that from menu or holding down power button)

Just played it for 2 hours and my god it still holds up.

One thing that's slightly annoying though is this

I get two listings for Red Dead in my achievement list but the one with the OG icon doesn't list any achievements but the undead nightmare one has them all listed. I hope that gets fixed somehow :/

I believe the screenshot is actually taken as soon as you start tapping the shortcut. Take the shot and test it.

The multiplayer on both consoles was hacked to shit a few year ago. A bomb was inserted that causes NPC corpses to remain on the map indefinitely, which means that even if you do get into a game chances are you won't be able to do anything. Sucks, RDR was the best online experience last gen.

Best way to start multiplayer, especially with friends is to first start a private lobby then invite. I found this will avoid loading screen hangs you get sometimes joining a public lobby.

The original 360 version even had the loading screen problems.

Rockstar's priorities are GTA Online content and developing new games.

What a shame. With the resurgence of RDR thanks to BC, I wonder if enough gamers complain about multiplayer, perhaps Rockstar and MS may try to do something about it. Wishful thinking I imagine.

As someone who hates GTA IV and is not a big fan of open world games in general, I found RDR to be the best game in its genre, easily. Not even GTA V comes close, which I found to be a drastic improvement over IV.

I think the only way you can transfer your save is with a 360. Put the USB in and upload it to the cloud tied to your XBL account.

I'm curious about a good elite setup too. Excited to dive back into this as I never finished it and never touched Undead Nightmare. I remember certain actions on the controller feeling slightly awkward (like trying to chase down and lasso someone) so I'm hoping the elite helps with that.

You can only use MS credit on digital 360 games if you purchase them directly from an Xbox 360 console. Otherwise, they must be purchased using a valid debit or credit card.
