What he's described is garbage though, it's entertaining to read because of that and the fact that I'm sure he really thinks it's great.

It's totally possible they just did it through Gofobo and on the down-low, but they would've probably just said BvS. They don't really care. They did screenings of Mad Max like a year in advance.

I still get WB screenings from Gofobo. Got one for point break like 4 months ago and it didn't
have the movies name in it.

Lol, I think I got that one too. Why were they trying to bury that movie?

Mind you, I got some from WBTickets too, just closer to release.
 
I dunno, man.

I take things like this with mountains of salt (especially when it comes to this movie, which has had about a hefty portion of fake shit/bad rumors). Everything sounds legit and cool, but it's also very easy to piece together some stuff from other rumors (the Olsen and Babs info) and little details we've heard (Flash's suit).

Same reason it looks super dumb that the X-Men live in a world outside of their own comic book with other super heroes. It's awkward as fuck especially when a X-men asks the Avengers, especially Cap, why they didn't help out during some situations.
 
Sounds too good to be true. It literally sounds like someone's idea of the greatest comic book film ever.

Eh. We'll see. I do have fucking HUGE hopes for this. I love Snyder, and I love Man of Steel.
 
Anybody have a list of all of the stuff we've heard/read about this movie:

  • Diana being Kryptonian
  • Scoot McNairy being Jimmy/Metallo/The Flash
  • Jena Malone being Babs/Carrie Kelley/Babs again
  • BvS being split into two parts (also from Reddit)
  • That fake script that was supposedly commissioned by WB to throw people off the trail of the movie
  • The leaked synopsis that was floating around IMDB for a while (and Reddit!), and subsequently updated with stuff we'd seen in trailers/promo to make it look legit

I know there's probably a ton more.

I agree, but be careful when you say that. People either think you're trolling, crazy, stupid, or a combination of the three.

Edit: Before that's taken out of context as a slam: I don't mean on GAF exclusively. I mean everywhere. The movie has a very vocal hater brigade.
 
Read through a lot of that Reddit.....if all of that is true and the poster isn't lying, I will be very impressed.

Its more or less Avengers minus the build up with the solo-character films but stil somehow making it all work. Very interested in seeing if this guy is right when the movie comes out.
 
If this is even remotely true I hope the movie is like 4 hours long or something (not really but you catch my drift). This sounds like a bigger mess than Spiderman 3. I mean really
Green Lantern and Cyborg are in this too? Is there even anything for them to do? Fight drones?

I don't think they need to spend as long of a time setting things up as the Avengers took but at least give us like 2 movies before the full team is formed.

I know its been said but Doomsday is totally unnecessary and should have been saved for a later movie. The story should have just been:

1. Batman and Superman argue
2. Lex finds red kryptonite and uses it to incapacitate/brainwash Superman into doing evil shit. Batman and Superman fight a couple of times. Batman narrowly escapes the first encounter.
3. They fight again. Batman is on the ropes, Wonder Woman intervenes. They snap supes out of it.
4. They face Lex in his robot armor (hey why the fuck not? we got armored Batman) and maybe he's resurrected Zod too.
5. They all fight. Good guys win. Supes apologizes for being an asshole. The end.

Maybe they could also have a side plot where Lex accidentally sends out a beacon or something early in the film while experimenting with the kryptonian technology that alerts Brainiac and starts him on a path towards Earth that they could slowly build to over the course of a few films. Maybe he could have unleashed Doomsday as an opening strike, killing Superman in the process, and setting up a JL (sans Superman) vs Brainiac movie. Who knows?

This just seems like a lot of stuff to fit into 1 movie. I will try remain optimistic because I actually liked Man of Steel but it will be a tall order. I will be seriously impressed if they somehow manage to pull it off.
 
I won't really look into the rumor, but as others have noted... I take pause with the Gofobo confirmation e-mail.

The thing that stands out/bugs me the most.. is no confirmation of where or when the screening will be on the pass. Seems to be the bare minimum for these responses.
