Agreed, but well, sales age and all.Spike said:Honestly, who cares? We play games, not sales.

It'll probably out-sell the PS3 version (which I hope it would, considering the install bases), but lifetime? Not so sure about that.
No need, believe me. To steal a phrase from Frank, yes its debateable but it'd be like arguing with a piece of furniture and I don't want to argue with my table. You HD people are like zombies. Seriously.Boombloxer said:Not going to continue that argument here, we can take it PMs if you're that interested. But yea, this is debatable.

What's the argument? It's a 2D Mario.velvet_nitemare said:There's an ongoing argument whether this gme will be like MKWii or ACWii.
Should be interesting either way.

But here I am... don't really even care about this comment in particular, I'm saying it's become kind of a general loathing. It's been a decade in the making, but now that I finally have that off my chest, carry on... I'm done.
I doubt it, considering the type of audience that plays MW anyways. If their parents let them cuss and yell out racist comments online im pretty sure they won't care either wayBattleMonkey said:Lot of kids getting their mouths washed out with soap I see
Silverthorn said:Mario will outsell most games including MW2 for reason alone. And that's because of the complete lack of anything really good to play on the Wii besides Nintendo's own. Its a safe purchase. Most games on the Wii are bad, any first party quality known franchise will sell since its a known commodity with very little competition from other third party Wii games.
velvet_nitemare said:There's an ongoing argument whether this gme will be like MKWii or ACWii.
Boombloxer said:Ok, that still doesn't mean that the NSMB Wii will. Last Mario game sold around 8 million on the Wii, which would equal the amount that MW1 sold on the 360, but not overall (14 million).
So we'll see.
Well, in a way they were pretty technology-happy before, the SNES had a lot better graphics and sound than the Sega Genesis, the N64 boasted a custom graphics processor developed in tandem with Silicon Graphics (that was nigh impossible to program, hence the therrible-looking games) and the Gamecube had quite a bit more power than the PS2 and was only narrowly outclassed by the Xbox. For its price and size, the Cube was a pretty damn impressive machine, it's amazing how quickly people forget this.stupei said:Because Nintendo up until this gen were all about having the most advanced tech?

Unless you don't mean a valid argument...
2D Mario =/= 3D Mario.
It's like trying to use Super Mario 64 DS's sales to predict those of NSMB.

If you only want to talk in definite inevitabilities, then no, doesn't mean NSMB Wii will. Doesn't mean MW2 will sell beyond the pre-orders, but we both know that's not true.Boombloxer said::lol Please.
