I'm only like 5 hours into Prime 2 (just decided to start playing it), and I am rather disappointed in it. It is hard to top Prime though. One thing that Prime 2 lacks, I think, is the music. Prime's music was amazing, but I am just not getting into Prime 2's soundtrack at all.

wow this thread is making me want to go back and play it. i just randomly stopped playing about 40% in. i loved everything about the game but i guess other stuff kinda distracted me, and at this point i dont remember anything about the game. wondering if i should just continue from that point or start over.

Probably start over. Difficult getting into the flow and feel of what you're doing at midpoint.

I'd love to play Metroid Prime, but the problem is when I play the game it just shuts it self off. My 'Cube is giving me a message saying to check the instruction manuals for more details. Is it just the game or is it my Cube? Sucks too because Killer 7 is giving me the same problem as well... : |.

If that always happens when you're on an elevator, it's a known bug. Nintendo will probably replace that copy for you. If not, then maybe it's your Cube.
