Xenogears
Legend of Dragoon
Final Fantasy VI
Dragon Quest VIII (for consoles)
Onimusha 1-4

Remake:
Demon's Souls
Tomb Raider 1-5 : NOT re-imaginings like the trash that was Anniversary but actual faithful adaptations with the same gameplay principles and controls (but faster and more fluid) ,art style that is based on the classics but with modern technology (think of the Spyro Reignited trilogy) ,enhanced sound and maybe some track variations by Nathan McCree and Peter Conelly based on their original tracks.

Many votes for Demon's Souls.

I beat Demon's Souls and loved it. I played Dark Souls once. Bought the sequels but never tried them. I think I really am holding out for Demon's Souls remake/remaster so that I can properly play through the entire series.

Mario Galaxy HD on the Switch, I'd pay $100 for.

Also: Tenchu anything, please.

The Twin Snakes is a remake. It has new gameplay so I wouldn't call it a remaster. Would be great if they released it on current consoles. I'm suprised that Konami hasn't re-released MGS HD Collection yet.

Quite correct, got my terminology mixed up talking about remasters.

Point still stands though. Would love a faithful recreation. Don't even want updated game play, would be quite happy with the original gameplay and even sound/score but just updated graphics. I started work on it myself, but then some other fans began a project far surpassing mine so I gave up hahaha...

I'm still hoping for a full remake of Final Fantasy VI. That mobile port was of very... questionable quality.

As far as other games are concerned, remasters of Chrono Cross and Vagrant Story would be appreciated though I doubt either of those will ever happen...

Since you have already played and beaten Demon's Souls i'd suggest you move on and enjoy the ones that are already out and you haven't played/beaten yet. :)

I would pay a lot of money for a Skate 3 Remake. Same controls and similar world but on a much larger scale with improved multiplayer. Multiplat + PC and you'd literally be swimming in cash

Return to Zork in VR.

"That guy drinks so much, even his plants are potted!" /Wizard Trembyle

Almost everything in VR, really. Doesn't have to be motion, standing or roomscale. Seated, with well implemented VR support, touch if you want it, HOTAS if it makes sense would be amazing.

WOW in 3D vision was good. Would be better in VR. Same with Trine. Ori deserves this as well.

Can't wait for next gen headsets, better optics and eye tracking.

Remake:
The same answer I always give Blood Omen: Legacy of Kain
Give it Witcher gameplay. Nothing but net. It would be handed 9s and 10s if marketed right.

The original Fear

Mass Effect Trilogy
Dragon Age : Origins (I'd take 2 too but origins is the priority)
Metal Gear Solid Saga
Soul Calibur 3
God of War 1 & 2
Final Fantasy 8
Resident Evil Outbreak 1 & 2 (could be mashed into one game)
CTR and Crash Bash
Silent Hill (1 to 4)
Onimusha Quadrilogy

Chromehounds - in its current state, but with network back up - on Switch

OR

Chromehounds for next gen.

Best game that started awful but turned out to be way ahead of it's time.

Not a remaster but a remake of Ocarina of Time in the level of the upcoming Final Fantasy VII
I know there is already the 3DS version, but is portable and it's too bright, maybe a remake with a more serious tone, aiming not at newcomers but at all those 30+ years old people that praise OOT because of nostalgia...

Def Jam Fight for New York - Although I'm sure this might be a licensing nightmare.

Beatdown: Fists of Vengeance - Although this got middling reviews and wasn't very popular.

The Ace Combat PS2 trilogy would be perfect with VR support for the whole campaign. Namco should have given this to us already while we wait for AC7.

Resident Evil: Outbreak. The old files or a new file using the RE2: Remake engine, controls.

Oh and Demons Souls. 😁

Mario 64, with visuals very faithful to the original art style. Just without the pixelation, pop-in and bad camera controls.

Also, all the extra stars added from the DS release.

Twisted Metal 2012. It's the best controlling and playing car combat game ever and it's stuck on a dead console with major connection issues. Forget the campaign, don't even waste your time on that. The multiplayer in a working state is what we need.

Also Chromehounds.

Chromehounds that games multiplayer was inspired. I have a lot of great memories running a commander hound back in the day

There are quite a few I would like and most of mine seem to be the same as others.

Ninja Gaiden - I would take a remaster or a remake that stayed true to the originals and not the garbage that is Ninja Gaiden 3.

Metal Gear Solid 4 - I think a remaster would be enough for this one.

Chrono Cross - probably need a remaster for this but heck I would take a straight port to PC and let modders have their way.

Demon's Souls - remastered would be good but a remake could work too

Silent Hill (series) - I would love to see the first one remade as I never played it and cannot really get past the graphics now. The other 2 getting a proper remaster would be nice. I would accept 2 & 3 in digital format on steam.

Amnesia - A remaster of this game or even a remake would be awesome.
