Remastered Games you would want and buy

There are 4 that spring immediately to mind:

Ace Combat Collection (4, 5, Zero).
Even a simply remaster job rendering at 1080p with better textures would be enough for me. An update like what TLOU got would be amazing, though. I've been playing Ace Combat Infinity, so if Bandai-Namco brought up the games to the level of ACI, I'd be there day 1.

Final Fantasy XII: International Zodiac Job Edition.
If you've ever seen screenshots of FFXII emulated, you already know how this already gorgeous title shines when rendered at a higher resolution. If not, go find some pictures. On top of the delicious FFXII art at a higher resolution, we'd also be getting the IZJS improvements that made XII that much better.

Red Dead Redempton.
It's a testament to the skill of Rockstar's development team that RDR looks as good as it does, and manages to run are relatively ancient hardware. But there's no denying that RDR would kill folks dead faster than John Marston in a duel if they took what they've learned with GTAV and applied it to a RDR remaster.

Dragon's Dogma.
Itsuno and company pushed the PS3 and 360 close to the breaking point with this game. Anyone familiar with the game knows the cornucopia of technical issues the game suffers from, and yet the game shines in spite of all that. It's just that good. If they want to soup up the crazy character creation engine too, I wouldn't mind that at all.

That will include the messy Anniversary version, not a new HD remaster for Halo 1 with love and care by people pro at it like Bluepoint.

What's so poor about the Anniversary version exactly? I thought it was well regarded, and the little bit I played at my friend's house seemed identical to the original, with better graphics. Isn't that what everyone wanted?

Soul Reaver Remake (L)

OH GOD, THIS.

and Shenmue, of course.

Lost Odyssey
Dragon Quest VIII
Demon's Souls
Dark Souls 1 and 2
Jet Set Radio Future

Probably more, but those are my most wanted I guess.

Just stunning. Remastered and running at 1080p with a solid frame rate with all the bells and whistles you'd expect and I'd be in heaven.

The only downside is that I wouldn't want Rockstar taking manpower away from a potential follow up for a remaster as I'd rather have a new entry. lol

I second Blade Runner and Skyrim. RDR and Skyrim were, and really still are, my most played games from past gen and now so having them on the new systems would allow me to have everything on one console.

MegaMan Legends 1&2.

Decreased load times, cleaned up graphics, maybe a cel-shaded overhaul.

It would be nice for a collection of all MegaMan and X games to be downloadable on current - gen / Steam.

Star Wars Knights of the Old Republic

It's my favorite game of all time and I would have a fucking orgasm if it came out on ps4. I had to have played that game 10+ times and it never gets old to me.

Bust a Groove 2
Wierd suggestion that I doubt anyone would even remember, care about, or even think about buying. Really fun ps1 game that me and my cousin loved playing each other in. I wish it was released as a ps1 classic or even on PSNow.

Viewtiful Joe
Could never beat it and would really like to go back and play it. Hopefully it comes out on PSNow as well.

I really need to go out and buy a ps2 and xbox. Are they still selling them?

Half-Life 2. Not Cinematic Mod remastered, but actually taking into account Valve's original vision and just incorporating it with a modern game engine.

MGS3 would be awesome on a newer engine too.

Need for speed Underground 1 & 2. I would buy them both in a heartbeat!!!

Def Jam FFNY

Red Dead Redemption. Even though I alreadt know that R* will never do this.

Burnout 3 and Revenge with Paradise crash damage? Yes Please!!!!

Rallisport challenge 1 and 2

Ocarina of Time - Wii U
Majora's Mask - Wii U
F-zero GX - WII U
Mario 64, Sunshine and Galaxy - Wii U
Mass Effect Trilogy - X1 or PS4
Gears of War collection
Goldeneye
Crimson Skies
KOTOR

Etc etc etc...

Uncharted Trilogy - Remaster U1 to U2/3 quality then render it all at 1080p/60fps.
Super Mario Sunshine - Wii U version would be great!
Goldeneye 64 - Same game structure with online multiplayer. Updated graphics/controls.
Red Dead Redemption - I guess I'm spoiled now because I went back to replay this over the weekend on PS3 and couldn't get past the visuals. I'd love to see this get a remaster
that comes out right before RDR2.

Blade Runner (1997) by Westwood Studios for the PC

CDPR has your back with Cyberpunk 2077

Gears of War Collection!
I believe from every remaster just this one will have my full attention now (since Halo is already to come).

A Uncharted Collection would be pretty cool aswell though! And maybe even a Dark Souls 2 at 60fps.

WipEout 2048
Silent Hill 1-3 properly remastered
Shadow of Memories
Legacy of Kain: Soul Reaver trilogy
Mass Effect trilogy with all the DLC
Resident Evil 2 + 0

I agree with all of these and ESPECIALLY Ace Combat!! You should also add 6 in there cause it never came to PS3

I really just want the uncharted series. I switched from xbox to playstation this gen, so I missed out on all the uncharted games last gen.

EA's Skate series.

The Skate games and Rockband are the only reason I still have a 360 hooked up and I want to free up that HDMI cable and room in my entertainment center.

Wipeout Legends.

All courses from original PSX wipeout games with original handling.
Absorb weapons, no pit lanes, new soundtrack (licensing issues).
Downloadable title playable on Vita, PS3, PS4, PSTV.

Graphics would be not as crazy as Wipeout HD, more like Wipeout pure graphics. (Sharper and better geometry obviously, but not at the expense of FPS).

Mass Effect Trilogy
Max Payne and Max Payne 2
MechWarrior 2,3
Homeworld with Cataclysm and HW2
C&C Red Alert
Shadowrun (Genesis)
A proper Twisted Metal loved the controls and level design on the PS3, hated the lack of clarity in objectives. Also it needed to have ALL the characters fleshed out and tied to a specific vehicle. Not just the three.
