Hey, Nolan is learning. At least it would be guaranteed to be better than Quantum of Solace in that regard.

Nobody is surprised. Think he could probably do a good job. I mean, Bond might disappear or randomly transport to another continent, but overall it'll be fine.
He's always been able to randomly transport to other continents

I love most of his movies but i'm not sure how i would feel about this. I think i'd rather him keep on working on projects where he has a lot more control.

How funny would it be if Daniel Craig suddenly went from a competent fighter in the past movies to one that moves slowly and fights with his elbows in the air?
it's a guilty pleasure of mine, and the soundtrack (excluding the song) is great. Christopher Lee is also one of the best villains of the series hands down.
But you absolutely cannot deny that the action sequences are the very definition of bollocks.

JGL figures out Bond's identity and confronts Bond about it. He knew who Bond was since he was a kid in an orphanage.
The final shot of the movie has JGL stepping onto a department store escalator. When he reaches the top he finds a tuxedo and assumes the identity of 007.

Yep. Every Craig movie has been steadily declining in the action department after the superlative Casino Royale. Hiring Nolan would just adhere to the current trend.

Well, both Bond and Batman won´t use their gadgets in fights anymore. Seems like a perfect fit.
5 Bond films, IMO, with great (not just good) fight scenes. In order:
1. Casino Royale
2. On Her Majesty's Secret Service (it still holds up. the reason cubby hired Lazenby in the first place was due to his screentest in which he accidentally broke another actor's nose. He was superb at the action)
3. From Russia With Love (red grant vs bond scene...goddamn)
...I honestly can't think of any more, excluding the other craig films. Only a few films in the series have really stood out in terms of hand to hand action.

Seriously though, If Nolan does get Bond 24, Wally Pfister's cinematography would be a MASSIVE downgrade from Roger Deakins.
I do have a feeling that Deakins won't be back without Mendes.
which is a shame...his work was the best thing about Skyfall. Visually, it's a work of art and far exceeds anything else in the series apart from maybe You Only Live Twice and OHMSS.
At least if Nolan DID do a Bond, it'd be shot on film again. That'd be nice.

Keep Nolan away from franchise movies.
Minds can differ on Nolan, but claiming his films are about "nothing" when he is one of the few blockbuster directors who bother to dovetail themes into his scripts is kinda silly.

Spielberg. Even at his worst he is better than Nolan at his best.
It would most likely be like On Her Majesty's Secret Service, which he never shuts up about or stops turning all his own movies into.

TDKR sucked. the other two batman movies are still awesome. inception's vault scene was the best thing nolan has ever done in his life. no nolan for bond. he's shit at action. fuck anne hathaway and marion cotillard.

Last months favourite was Guy Ritchie. I'd be more interested in a Bond film by him than by Nolan.
