A buddy of mine considers Nier Automata as his game of the generation. Every time I look at the gameplay from this game (the non-spoilery one) I say to myself it's probably not something for me. I usually don't like weird games and the environments look so empty.

REmake 2 was awesome. In this case my reaction was the opposite. I was initially planning to buy it later on because of its length, but after watching a part of a stream and playing the demo I bought in the first week.

ooooooo close one. never played nier but only heard good things about it. still though, gotta give it RE2. i had mega complaints about the zombies being annoying int hat game, but for the most part they did a really, really good job on it. too bad i heard RE3 was so short. ill be playing that when it goes dirt cheap.

Both are GOTG contenders for me. Brilliant games. But only when they are pitted against one another I am able to see how much Nier: Automata is above the other. Absolutely amazing, unique experience. Hard to believe it's behind.
