Wii version can be played with remote or gamecube gamepad. It also supports 480p and proper widescreen and it has all the extra campaigns and content that the PS2 version had, so it really is the definitive version of the game.AvidNobody said:If you were to play RE4, play a console version besides Wii. Not like I'm hating on the wii, I just found it way too easy.

RE4's solo gameplay with occasional help is still superior though.
Magnus said:I think when the OP says Single Player, he's not just referring to a mode of single play (like, you control Chris and the AI controls Sheva), but a scenario where there's just one character and you're controlling it and that's it. I think that's lent to some of the miscommunication in the thread.

i really should have clarified - seems like not many people understood me : /
Cerberus said:Yeah, you have to beat the campaign to unlock Mercs. Maybe just complete it on Easy? Mercs is awesome. I put much more time into that than the campaign. Still need to buy the DLC to try out Mercs Reunion.

The game isn't as good as Resi 4 as everyone says, but it's still a rather good game. Of course, I didn't go into it with any kind of expectation or mindset.
