Man I really wish I was watching the stream in real-time instead of having to resort to the youtube uploads
sounds like I'm missing something hilarious
Does it explain the lack of Sheva and Josh?
Oh wait, I already know the answer to that one. They weren't obligated this time.
Sounds like some expert pacing there. He's been fighting the final boss for around an hour, and he's only died once I think.
It's still not over yet.
This is going to kill Leon's replay value. I don't think I'd ever want to experience this again. Way too drawn out, and very boring gameplay situations.
to be fair, the whole fifth chapter is essentially this boss fight. I honestly think some people are taking it too hard, but I can understand not everyone likes a boss that keeps on changing and going.

That's a given. RE4 is a masterwork of pacing. It's just bad design IMO. These big bads should be "one and done" experiences. Shooting giant glowing weakspots for over an hour is way too much.
This entire chapter is the exact OPPOSITE of RE4's genius.
The problem is that it's so action packed that it's boring
Zero tension whatsoever

Wow. Leon is fighting a Tyrannosaurus Rex. Lol, I can dig it.
The problem with that Wesker fight was the teamwork aspect, though. It was sort of unnaturally scripted and forced each player to take a fixed path based on the character they were playing before things could be triggered. And people give RE5's Wesker ending flak, but it still makes plenty of sense from a design standpoint.
Phase 1: The strongest "human" type enemy you've encountered
Phase 2: Biggest QTE battle
Phase 3: Strongest "mutated" type enemy
And all three require teamwork, which was the whole point of the game.
At least that's how I remembered it being. I really need to replay RE5, this RE6 mess shows that RE5 was pretty decent and that the only reason it seemed like such as step down was because it came after (one of) the greatest game(s) of all time, not that it was actually bad.

In this game, there's been Human form, Lizard form, Wolf running along the train form, T-Rex form, T-Rex form (with turrets), Weird-looking form where you snipe him, Lizard climbing wall form, Scorpion form, Housefly form, and this Giant Enemy Crab form. There comes a point when all those transformations become boring. They should've only had the T-Rex.
yayyyy, finally
What happened?
the boss he was fighting for ages finally died
Looks like Capcom wanted to honor Dino Crisis while they were at it. :lol
The peoples reactions in the stream when Simmons turned into a Dinosaur were hilarious.
Anyway, PM'd and looks like the videos are being reuploaded elsewhere. I don't know why Capcom are taking them down though as the game is legitimately out in some third world countries.
