Resident Evil 6 - Spoilers and Discussion thread

Was just some outside errors, I for some reason have been helping a lot today but it is back up now and should be for the foreseeable future. Ada's campaign seems stealth and puzzle based.

None of those characters were in RE5 Mercs except Sheva, and the rest were either in Mercs Reunion or Mercs 3D. My guess is they'll either add a bunch of people in another Mercs Reunion pack, or release another standalone version of Mercenaries a la Mercs 3D. That Mercenaries Bio-Ops title that supposedly leaked a few months back for the Wii U will probably be that.

Edit: Forgot about Zero Suit Jill. She was in it, but.. bleh, who cares about Zero Suit Jill.

Both Jills were in standard RE5
 
i missed the jake campaign.... can anyone do a quick plot summary? or please post the recording if there is one.
 
So the big Twist in Ada's scenario is that Carla was behind everything and not Simmons. Simmons took his girlfriend Carla and injected her with the C-Virus and Ada's DNA to make a replica of Ada but Carla heard him talk during the process. To get her revenge against da world she launched the attack on Tall Oaks and China. Simmons was evil too but he was not behind the two attack.

Her fight is pretty cool though.

Come to think of it, this is true. The fact they put Ada in the Villains section in Operation Raccoon City was always ridiculous to me. Sure, she isn't a hero either, but she wasn't on the same level as Hunk or Nicholai.

RE2: Saves Leon twice; in Claire's B scenario, she saves her too despite not having any actual incentive to do so

RE4: Saves Leon who knows how many times

Damnation:
Allows Leon and Buddy to escape the area beneath the Presidential Palace

I honestly think Ada deserves her own game one day.

Did they tie up the loose ends from Revelations, or is there still chance that they make another game that at least partially resembles RE again for those plots?
 
Ada looks gorgeous in this game. I'm not sure I've seen a videogame character that's had a face quite like hers in this game.

Isn't it amazing how by each installment RE games are closer and closer to how RE movies are? It wouldn't be long before we have RE games equivalent of Alice. Or maybe Sherry and Jake are it.

Yeah to this. F U Capcom for never recognizing her greatness and giving her a full game instead of a glorified cameo.

She turns in a big white pile of marshmallow like goo and attack the ship just like Ourobouros Excela did. There's a bunch of QTE where her face chases you around hallways and creates zombie like hands trying to grip you to wall.

Actually, looking at that screen, that's not RE4's Mercs screen, since it has Jill in it. What -is- that?

Hmm, the creature design is great, so I'll indulge some QTEs to get good views of it!
