Resident Evil 7 Spoiler Thread

GM: Ok, the crazy npc redneck shoots himself in the head and falls over.
Player: Ok, I decapitate the corpse.
GM: Nu uh, you can't.
Player: Why not?
GM: Cause he has to come back later and I can't have the you fucking up my predictable villain ahead of schedule.
Player: ...

Why would someone like Ethan decapitate a corpse? And obviously destroying the brain doesn't seem to do jack shit for whatever Virus strain the bakers are using. They're seemingly just as if not more resilient than Wesker.

I need to resist and not watch, but peeking the topic for a second, probably shouldn't.

You guys are talking difficulty? I don't know what is going on stream, but I know a bit about difficulty.

Easy: Generous checkpoints, regenerates half your health quickly, low enemy damage, can save at cassette recorders whenever, may have easier enemy placement and numbers.

Normal: Checkpoints, can regenerate a fourth of your health, normal enemy damage, can save at cassette recorders whenever.

Madhouse: No checkpoints, no regenerating health, higher enemy damage, need to collect Cassettes (which there are a limited number of and take inventory space) and have limited saves at Cassette Recorders, may have trickier enemy placement and numbers.

so judge whatever difficulty you guys think he's playing on from the above descriptor, it's what I know of the difficulties.

That's what I know, I need to resist peeking. ;_;

So Madhouse is essentially normal difficulty anywhere else.

Yeah I'm done with the stream. I can just see myself getting frustrated with the way this guy is playing.

So it doesn't come back to life like his girlfriend whom he axed to death the second she attacked him. He ain't squeamish.

As terrible as the stream is. This game does remind me of Remake quite a bit.

And as terrible as the guy playing is, he does remind me of myself when I played Remake for the first time trying to figure out what the hell I was doing.

If Ethan was the go getter I hoped he was, he'd goddamn try decapitation. After all, he went apeshit with the car and he's been dropping shells like a madman.

Come on, Ethan. Time to get feral. The situation demands it. Don't turn into a walking simulator protagonist.

Resident Evil has always been cliche and predictable. Doesn't mean it aint cheesy fun.

Oh, I'm with you. The stream just confirms that if anyone thought the "new" RE was stepping away from boulder punching, they're in for a surprise.

The dude literally forced the guy to blow his brains out. Likely to prove the point that he's atm unkillable via conventional means.

Maybe he forced him to kill him because he was in too much pain

We can't know what Ethan is thinking.

MISTAKE #6:

He didn't drop the grannie with a well timed headshot to secure bomb site B.

He'll never see pro sponsorship at this rate.

Yo Crossing Eden I can't wait for Dunkey to make a video of this game. You know it's gonna be hilarious.

That was actually on the B-roll oddly enough. I'm surprised they did that considering how they have been trying to hide the Mia stuff.

I didn't look at much of that stuff so I didn't know.

Apparently he's naive enough to think he's dead. For all the things Wesker survived he never survived brain damage. Bullets were like the one thing he legitimately felt like dodging.
