So what actually happened to Lucas? If I'm remembering right, there is no boss battle with him, and we don't see him again after his little house of horrors has been completed. Is he free of the mind control once Eveline is dead and buried? Or is he still under the influence, and will be returning for some future DLC?

Lucas fucking off halfway through the game was really disappointing. Game really could have had a third stalker/boss character in the back third instead of corridor shooting molded while an annoying little girl taunts you.
I'm assuming Not a Hero will have us playing as bargain bin Chris? I just hope its not shooter focused. Probably gonna wait to see what the DLC is like now before buying the season pass, because I'm not sure what it'll provide what I'm looking for. I want more stuff like the first part of the game, lots of exploration/route planning and resource management, not one off scripted story bits or shooting waves of molded. Meh.

Aww shit I just found out that you can create enhanced bullets by combining gunpowder with normal bullets. I spent my madhouse run saving red goo for bullets instead of hp ><

That sucks. I hope Capcom bring him back for a sequel, or at least for some DLC. I had fun in his testing area, and the character himself is brilliant. I'd say he's my second favourite Baker, behind Jack. Margerita or however the hell you spell it is my least favourite.

Marguerite was great. Her section was the scariest part of the game, and her boss fight was amazing.
Nah, the tired old bug lady cliche was a bit too much for me, and I found her part of the map to be quite dull. There was very little variation, whereas with Jack and Lucas' sections respectively, you never really know what's behind each door. And the boss fight with Marguerite was alright but, again, there's more variety and challenge with Jack. Marguerites was literally a run and gun affair, whereas you actually had to put effort in with Jack.

It really was, it reminded me of a Metal Gear boss the way you would go from hunter to hunted. It had some nice creepy music too.

Zoe never got close to the girl, felt something was wrong and tried her best to keep distance from them.
And it's most likely she is dead:
Eveline didn't like her at all, and she appears next to Jack (Who "Died") when he talks to Ethan about what happened.

I didn't like Lucas' area except for the room puzzle tbh,i think i would've liked a little more if i hadn't found the birthday tape before.
It was so out of place with all the music and whatnot,it felt like that nightclub level from DmC and the enviroment leaves a lot to be desired aesthetically speaking.
That area and the salt mines are the only parts i didn't like,the rest of the game was awesome.

I was kinda hoping that the DLC would have us play as Peter Walken. We see him trying to be hero and save Andre at the end of the video we watch but theres definitely time in between Andre being captured and Peter trying to save him.
Maybe Peter made a dash for it and got to the main house? Maybe he did some stuff and found out the bakers were crazies before returning to save his buddy? I don't think it's the worse idea for DLC and I'd certainly like to know more about the character and the Sewer gators back story.

One of my favorite lines from Jack, the delivery and him busting in all pissed off and mutated. I had no idea what was going on and it was so hilarious. This game gave me a lot of genuine laughs from the dialog.

I don't understand where people are getting the idea it's a reboot from. Capcom have not once said the game should be seen as a reboot to the series. I'm sure they wouldn't have numbered the game if it was their intention.
Even Simmon's final form was more interesting.

Just under 2 hours in and I'm nearly at the end of Lucas's section.
Used only 1 medkit and used the item box only once too. Making progress.
Don't have to use the forced item box segments during this part as you can put in the correct keycode on the door without going through the tape shit. Helps for speeding through the game. Means I have an extra free item box use before later on when I need to get my things back (and Mia's stuff) on the ship which is "forced".

It's really terrible. Maybe if you 100% the game it actually pretty explicitly explains what Redfield's story is, but nobody's ever done it so we don't know.
Even with the key code he doesn't let you in without you putting all your stuff away, yeah? Or is there a non 1408 code that works too?

After watching Riverdale on Thursday, the main story of RE7 uses 'Go tell Aunt Rhody'. I think the Zoe side story should use 'The Passenger' from Hunter as a Horse to close out the ending scene.
