Cross gen yes but since it's linear and not open world you really think they'd pump out god tier visuals. This is episodic right? Some of those animations look quite rough, especially that animation of her picking up items. Jeez.It looks as expected of a cross gen game.
is it going to be for vita as well confirmed yet?
Also physical attacks are still there, but no one seems to use them![]()
Hopefully it's just a quick knife slash or something and not a ridiculous spin kick.
No!
I want claire to do a spinning piledriver.
The best part of the RE games since RE4 has been the Gun+Melee combat. It's super fun and makes replaying much better.
RE5 got that part right, and RE6 made it even better.
I wanna see some motherfucking melee moves. Give Claire an Izuna Drop!

And this time the guy playing actually uses physical attacks. It doesn't seem you can charge them like in the first REV.

This is weird. Resident Evil Revelations Dead Island the manga book?

That's Leon trademarked roundhouse kick.
Awesome
Because there's nothing particularly terrifying about anything that such a supposed horror game can throw at such empowered characters. RE6 didn't represent a step forward so much as a desire to go in a completely different direction altogether that's pretty much Resident Evil in name only. Neither traditional in the sense of the old-school games, nor even representing a balance between horror and action as RE4 did, it's just all-out action now, and indeed comes across as little more than a half-baked character action game that doesn't have the enemy design, level design, or the refinement of its ideas to actually make it work.

Looks like Moira's flashlight will work similar to the "goggles" mechanic from Revelations 1 for finding items.
Thanks, bye bye Alyson Court.
Heck MayDay maybe be in the top 5 bosses of the series full stop.

Haha, well, people have been wanting a return to RE4! It's back to knifing dudes on the ground!
Anything different in the control scheme? Also it seems characters have a separate, limited inventory.

Will "I NEED A HURB" BE BACK?!
Another video from a different special stage.

It seems you can stun enemies with Moira's flashlight and then switch back to Claire and use a physical attack.

Is there a video yet without the commentary that's just of the gameplay?
Hey guys I just saw the pics in this thread, Is revelations 1 getting a port to next gen systems as well?
looks great overall and can't wait to play.
I noticed though that some aspects of the animation seems a bit wooden or something -- for example, claire's ponytail doesn't always move naturally when she moves around. Like when she just stats running, the ponytail suddenly points straight back.
Bookmarked. If I had to bet I'd bet that it scores higher than 7.
So, replaying RE2 has made me realize that this is a huged misse opportunity to reunite Claire with Sherry.
I mean, they even created a new character with the same gender and age, why didn't they just go with Sherry which would've been much more interesting imo? I really would've liked to see that. Now I'm wondering when we'll get a chance to see them together since Claire most likely wont be in RE7. Damn.
Sherry reveals during RE6 that she, Claire and Leon have always been in contact since the Raccoon City incident, so it wouldn't really be a reunion as such.
I agree though, would have been cool.
