What...you didn't heard that?

HomerSimpson-Man said:Just download VLC player. It handles most types of videos just fine with extra no codec installations needed. Pretty kickass video player like that.
More like HL2 level.Amir0x said:Yeah basically Resistance looks like it has an interesting premise, but visually it's just a slightly better Doom 3 (not stylistically, just technically)
I see what you did there..ELS-01X said:More like HL2 level.

Anyway, I'm sorry but my impressions from the warhawk video is the same from the conference... ok, no the same, but a far cry from the hype I have been hearing from here.
R&C, on the other side, was amazing and I expect to be blown away AGAIN(when the download finishes)...
mckmas8808 said:Warhawk to me looks very very very nice. The water, clouds, and ships look great.
yoopoo said:Resistance guys should learn from R&C guys and ADD SOME COLOR!
Smokey Bones said:Heh wasn't too impressed by either Resistance or WarHawk. What are you guys seeing in WarHawk? For some reason I don't see it as really impressive.
Ratchet & Clank however = BONAFIDE!
The game pratically looks b&w, only noticeable color in that footage was the red ammo from the guns.Amir0x said:I really don't think color is the issue here.

when I come to the site, it tells me to wait for 45 seconds, I wait and when the 45 sec are up nothing happens.
there is no download button to click on nor does a pop up window come up where I can choose download from![]()

Mmmkay said:Because if they were where they should be, wouldn't he be having to fly for 20 seconds to reach them? That wouldn't have made a very exciting tech demo.
and this isn't?jett said::lol I like how Wollans puts there "december 2005 build". Pre-emptive damage control, huh. Resistance looks just uninspired and uninteresting...and as crappy as it looked at E3. R&C looks pretty nice, but I'll wait until a gameplay video. Right now, for me, it's pretty hard to get excited about playing the same damn thing with prettier graphics.
Warhawk...I'm not even gonna bother downloading the vid.
:lolSantaCruZer said:wait, are we watching PS3 gameplay in motion for the first time here?
vantastic said:i love how you guys always call damage control on anything positive and ignore anything else.
it's realtime... you just have to believe me hereAmir0x said:if it was real-time R&C gets like an 11/10 from me, but i refuse to believe.
But even just as a tech demo for an audience of developers it's lacking in details of physics simulation and environment interactivity that I would like to hope is possible next gen. Simple example - the sandbag barriers don't seem to be composed of individual sandbag objects but just a standard monolithic polygon mesh with a high-res texture wrapped around it. I'm not necessarily asking for complete environmental destructability here, just that primary props like this be modeled to a more complete level of realism.hukasmokincaterpillar said:I know that 30 second clip of a work in progress wasn't the most impressive thing we've ever seen but you'd think a quality studio like Insomniac would get a bit more benefit of the doubt from some of you guys.
