Didn't quite live up to the motion control promises outside of shooters. The gaps between notable releases due to the lack of third-party support probably would've been painful if I'd hadn't owned the other consoles. Could've used a bit of a bump in graphics, or at least HD so it looked better on HDTVs. Also could've used a few more buttons on the controller.
At the end of the day, though? There were a lot of genuinely good to great games released for the system. Anybody who can look at the Wii's library and say that it has very little or even nothing of value, as many on GAF like to, either hasn't given it a chance or has extremely narrow taste in games.
