Return to da party: Playstation Vita

I've been playing my OLED Vita again last night. Goodness it is great. Still I hate only one thing and its the bubbles in the OS representing the game icons. That needs to be the next update. It could be so many different shapes... tear.

Hilarious!

Okay, I just went out, and bought myself the Borderlands 2 bundle even though I can ill afford to spend frivolously.

First impressions from my short hands-on:

-It's thin! And light! Almost to the point that I feel that I might break it if not careful. Now, I never had the original retail OLED Vita, but I did use prototype models when I worked QA for Sony, and those versions were certainly clunkier, and larger than what was finally released to the public.

-The screen is a sight to behold, and I don't miss the OLED screen.

-Holy fuck, transferring stuff via the PS3 takes FOREVER! When I worked QA, transferring was much faster than this. What the hell happened? I can only assume that it's due to added security?

I bought Dragon's Crown, and am really liking it so far. I thought that there was some DLC released, but I only found a voice over pack.

I will probably sell the Borderlands 2 voucher as reviews seem to bash the game's performance, and I've never been too keen on first-person shooters. So, if you would like a copy of Borderlands 2 for the Vita, hit me up on PM.

Final thoughts: I like it so far, it feels almost too thin, and I'm so damn glad that they finally implemented controller inputs on the home screen. I don't like greasing up my screens with finger oils.

Borderlands 2 is quite great on Vita. Loved and played the heck out of it on PS3 and was still surprised of it when I got it recently on Vita (got an LCD as a remote play device, as I already have an OLED).

But if you know you won't enjoy it and don't like FPS, yeah..you're better selling it.

So I've had my Vita on the charger for an hour, and it won't turn on.

I was playing Minecraft when the Vita died. Plugged it into the charger--no orange light.

Is this normal?

I've had this vita for 2 years now, and I've never experienced this.

edit: didn't know where else to put this post; sorry if too OT

edit # 2: when I plug it into my ps4, it says, "There are too many usb devices plugged in." It says the same on my laptop... what's going on?
