Reveal Trailer For FNAF world released.

When the parade of names flashed through the screen, it felt like a straight-up parody of the FNAF fad.

Anyways, looks like a cheap cash-in on the brand while the name is hot. So about on-par with the past few games in the series.

Hilarious.

Did you guys not know about this? He announced it a while back. Hoping it plays the cute shtick straight all the way through. Too many people would be expecting it to get dark.

I mean...

just....

I hope there's more to this, otherwise it looks terrible...

and we're at the point we just refer to it as FNAF now? I had no idea what this was before watching the video

Unless there's some cool meta joke/genre switch in the game at some point, this is... yikes.

This is what i'm expecting. Oh the whole game will probably be like that.
But the fans who dig into it will more than likely see what it really is.

I knew, but I didn't expect it to look as good as it does. It looks fun to me!

And I agree. No twists. I want it to just be fun and cute. Let the man do something different.

You know, you're right. This kind of does make sense actually.

Much of the FNAF fandom, from what I've glimpsed, already draws and portrays the animatronics as friendly characters. They ship them and create fanfiction for them, totally ignoring their background as scary killers. The characters are basically furry fodder now.

So I think Scott is just buying into that. And I think it will pay off.

Well this is... different.

I expect something will be going on under the surface, but I wonder if this is partly inspired by all the fan games that popped up that were otherwise willing to throw the games' characters into whole other game genres.

Pretty sure this is fake/a twist. single shot of the overworld looked WAY to barren and generic.

Would love to be wrong though, this is hilarious.

Given what I saw of FNAF's fanbase I actually don't expect a twist.

See, on the one hand I half expect this to be a game that's been released "in-universe" and will have your expected creepy lore moments in it.

On the other, it almost seems like a bigger twist to play the entire thing straight.

To be honest, I'm really excited for it now!

All of Scott's other RPG games are really solid and fun, so even if FNAF is a horror franchise, this looks really good.

I guess people haven't been keeping up with the site updates.

It's a goofy spin-off, let Scott have fun making something else other than JumpScares 5. Assuming this doesn't turn into that.

Would be kinda cool if the game started out all cutetsy only to turn grimmer the more you play etc.

It would also be hilarious if the game is actually just all that and people will play thru it expecting it to get dark and but it never happening.

It'll be great if he ends up playing this straight but it still ends up revealing a lot of canon information that it becomes required reading.
