Final Fantasy games also frequently have a revenge theme. IV, VI and VII all come to mind right away but that might just be b/c I am more familiar with them.

Burnout really is an interesting choice, because it inspires the gamer to take revenge, and even rewards them for doing so.

Those are the franchises that come to mind right away.

Max Payne is almost too easy. ;P
