"It looks amazing in native 1080p on PS4" (no mention of 60fps).
Of course things can change if they couldn't maintain a solid frame rate (how long ago did he say that. I think Ryse developers said the same in the beginning?). Not saying that this is the case, but this is new hardware, anything is possible.
 
What are these network issues that people keep bringing up relating it to the PS4? Killzone Shadowfall isn't delayed, it's a launch title, it's got a massive multiplayer component!
 
IGN has had these 1080p looks with the PS4 version and Boyes said it was 1080p. Until proven otherwise this Youtuber is wrong.

I've always wondered why people spout this nonsense since Sony has confirmed that the PS4 can be playable offline right out of the box.

yep that doesn't sounds correct. maybe he didn't got that right. the important thing is the 720p. if he gets that will you believe the drm story then?
 
Did this youtube member do this just for hits? looks like it because a number of insiders have already stated COD as 1080p on PS4. Topic should have the word 'Rumor' in here.

No they wouldn't. Adam Boyse (don't know how to spell that) said this at the Brazil press conference in front of millions of people. What they'd do if an MS exec actually said it publicly is wait and see if he/she ends up looking a fool.

This guy is clearly trying to stir the pot with total bullshit while trying to ride it into town on the back of a little (known) negative X1 news in order to make him look balanced. He's using the fact that people have exhausted the argument of DRM on the X1 and trying to revamp the argument and aim it back at Sony.

This is out and out bullshit designed specifically to try and muddy the water before the PS4 launch. It won't work though. People aren't stupid ... Well not all people anyway.

I posted it because despite the bullshit in there I thought the DR3 info was interesting as well as the new reasons as or why the games are being delayed. I know some of it makes no sense like the network/resolution bit but it brings new mocking and discussion :)

Also, it's very unusual for this guy to make any comments like this so I started a thread and got GAF's reaction. The sarcasm and gifs have been worth it
 
We need these consoles to come out already, this is getting insane. In the past month we went from the next-gen consoles being the greatest thing to now, when all people do is make up rumors and speculate about why these consoles are going to be failures and how terrible they will be.
Unless you have an actual PS4/Xbox one in front of you that you have played yourself not just a press event and you are willing to speak honestly and openly about it, then I don't want to hear your opinion. An opinion that was probably made up using the same rumors and speculation that we heard.

Intended framerate is gonna remain the same among the consoles. If Devs make sacrifices it's gonna be resolution, not framerate.

Guys. since the Reviewtech spilled the secrets on cod, I got the greenlight from my source to reveal what she's told me.

BF4 is 720p on xbone because kinect software wasn't ready. They had it running at 900p before, but had to reroute bandwidth to compensate for the kinect resolution.


It can't be patched, but engine optimisations, including polishing the ESRAM to run the sound engine better, will mean that future battlefields will run better.

The box saying 1080p just means that it will scale to and accept that resolution on your display. It does not mean it runs at native 1080p. Come on dude...you know better this. Come on...I mean shit.
 
I really wonder what his sources are. Eventhough he mention several of times that he just heard this, he seems to take in particullar the stuff about PS4 DRM as facts, at least it sounds like it to me the way he talk about it.
