Revolution to be final name and subliminal messaging?

Yeah i took this from else where but its too fricking cool to be missed.
We've all seen the new Euro trailer for the Nintendo Wi-Fi connection.
Well have you taken a closer look at it?

Watch the trailer Here from Nintendo of Europe's Media Servers and look in the back ground as the words flas up at the beginning and end.
See what it is slowly scrolling across the screen?

Yep. pretty freakin cool? Could this be from E3 Revo video?
Remember Iwata saying to try and piece together the puzzle?
Is there more we have missed?
And someone played with the video to show it up more clearly

Thanks to all the guys on IGN

Yeah, I wouldn't read too much into it. It's just some guy at NoE who makes it, not like there's some strategy behind it.

I think the final name will stay as Revolution. I hope.

Haha I read it as that too.

Nintendo's definitely trying to tell us something about their future and I have a feeling this mysterious "Revolio" could very well be a new type of cheese-filled pasta that could send them to the top of console world.

They're making a Mario Bros. cooking game where their trademark dish is named Revolio? I'm sold.

Or the unholy fusion of Nintendo's newest console and Olimario into one gigantic bastardization of suck.

The final Revolution "secret" is that it's a toaster oven in which you can bake these tasty "Revolio" goodies.

a Nintendo fan's visual cortex isn't as highly developed as other mammals

this is why Revolution eschews HD

When approaching a nintendo fan one must take great caution as they are known to thrash about wildly in a defensive state at the slightest sound, much like a blind mole with a coffee grinder jammed up its hoo hoo.

Why would anyone WANT the final name to be Revolution?

That would be the worst title for a major game console EVER.

It doesn't roll off the tongue, it's not "cool".

PlayStation. Simplified to PS2, PS3, PSP. DS. Xbox.

Those names all work because they slide off the tongue and have no other meaning than "video game system".

They won't stick with Revolution. It would be a horrid final name.

I used to think PlayStation was a shitty name when it launched. Sounded like a Fisher-Price toy. Hell, it still does. Obviously it hasn't mattered much because Sony's consoles have kicked ass and have a huge mindshare.

Anyway... Admittedly, I wish they'd go back to the xNES nomenclature. Regardless, Revolution is miles better than GameCube.

Playstation never made sense to me. I mean, Gamecube tells you exactly what it is. It's a game cube. Xbox is just a name. It's like Playstation is trying to tell you to play the station, but it just doesn't work with that name. Go play station? It's like bad english or something. I admit that the abbreviations sound good though.

Most non-crap post you've ever made.

It actually means something GAME-RELATED. Even something like DS or Xbox, which wouldn't normally mean "video games", are now associated only with gaming. Revolution just wouldn't work.

Trust me, if the designs of Revolution, DS Lite, and Game Boy Micro are any indication, they're going to want a good name to boot.

And I agree to a point with some people: maybe bringing back the NES name would be a good thing. (I'm more on the side of "new", but NES has a very much loved image that goes along with it.)

Honestly, with all the free promotion it's gotten, I'd be surprised if Ninendo didn't capitalize on the Revolution name.

Trust me, the only people who have gotten word on Revolution are the people who will know when its name changes (and they'll know within a week of it happening).

The general public doesn't have a fucking clue it's coming out. Of course they barely know anything about PS3 other than "it's coming".

Wow the Nintendo-Bashers™ are out early and in full force this morning.
ItÂ’s pretty obvious what it says. 95% of you who have tried to be funny have failed MASSIVELY. And actually made me frown in amazement than laugh

Normally, I would agree.
But this time it really is different. I already noticed that at least a small part of the general public (here in The Netherlands) knows about Nintendo's new console called Revolution.
The cause of this is the controller which even the general public looks forward to, to play with it.

Yeah, many publications already covered the Revolution after the controller was revealed. So there's a fairly big change that at least some part of the general public read about it and got kinda interested.
