Richard Spencer (that nazi that got punched) removed from CPAC by security

Are they actually fighting each other. All they are doing is trying to hide their horrible views and plans a little better from the surface while not changing at all. I suppose seeing some of the lunatics butthurt is something good but also bad because people won't always see that pure evil. It worries me that they'll tone it down in public enough to hold power.

life comes at you fast, etc etc

More good news coming out of the alt-right shitstorm.

Left fascist makes no sense. Doesn't fascism fall on the far right side of the political spectrum?

"Nazi" is short for "national socialism" which has the word "socialism" which means nazis were a far-left group

This is a thing people believe.

Second of all, to the Alt-Right, who's the cuck now?

From the very first time a ghost-white, rail-thin Channer with a protruding adam's apple typed that phrase un-ironically, just like every other insult or accusation they hurl, it has been a projection.

Oh, a Cuck is someone who's "property" is being taken from him right in front of him, and he's being manipulated and embarrassed by more powerful men, because he's too weak and stupid to do anything about it? And he just lets it happen?

That IS the alt-right. And that's all it has ever been.

Yeah, it is a stupid thing to say considering a political establishment that ostensibly embraces a communist political ideology can be totalitarian, authoritarian, etc., on many accounts...But fascism is a political ideology that embraces identity politics and often romantises the European feudal past...

I'd rather have ten yelling Richard Spencers than five stealth neo nazi's who are too smart to come out in public with their rhetoric.
Here's hoping that isn't the case.

People like Spencer are part of why Trump is president right now. Scared racists are a lot easier to deal with.

...that's a pretty bad scale due to the location of Libertarianism (one of the most extreme anti-authoritarian positions just next to the most extreme authoritarian ones) but yeah, Fascism is to the right regardless of what political compass you're using.

A charitable explanation would be they're misusing the term to mean "authoritarian", which I wish more on the right were concerned with, but there's a pretty clear campaign of "incorrectly use the words people attribute to me" on the right these days. See also Fake News.

@ 5:00 (-14:40) in that facebook video, once they get outside and two people are asking him questions:

"You're mic-cucking her"

ha. this dude loves that word.

Yeah, I know, it was one of the first I found.

I actually know a lot of people who says Hitler was a socialist cause the word nationalsocialist.

They can barely go a sentence without it. The one upside to the growth of the alt right is it's incredibly easy to tell who you don't even need to bother engaging with online. Cuck, redpill, pepe avatar, frog emoji, MAGA hat, deplorable, hell a lot of them just put "racist, sexist white man" in their bio now.

I noticed this with Gamergators too. Anyone who thinks they're (entirely) different people needs to wake up.

Edit:

Yeah, I know, it was one of the first I found.

I actually know a lot of people who says Hitler was a socialist cause the name nationalsocialist.

People pissing and moaning that you shouldnt' call them 'nazis' miss the huge amount of parallels. The official name of the nazis was deliberately vague and trendy, just like "alt right". There is no way these people aren't deliberately using the nazi playbook.

To the people who like to blame all their and the world's problems on blacks, Hispanics, Immigrants and homosexuals but don't want to be called bigots or nazis because they're "more reasonable"

The delusional ones that don't think they're racist.

To the sort of people who don't see someone as being racist unless it's painfully obvious (as it is with Spencer), like lots of Trump voters, moderates, and Republicans in general.

Right on

Well there is the "horseshoe" theory of politics

From Wikipedia, "The horseshoe theory in political science asserts that rather than the far left and the far right being at opposite and opposing ends of a linear political continuum, they in fact closely resemble one another, much like the ends of a horseshoe.

The CPAC should take a wrecking ball to their own building if they want to clear out the racists still inside

You guys ostensibly spent a year watching the republican primaries and are just now trying to hype yourselves up about a "crack" in the movement?

they dude they interviewed at the last half ... 'milo has a voice for the conservative movement, he just needs to tone it down a little'

lol okay

The "left to right" scale for political ideology is really bad. At the very least, it needs to have 2 axis (and preferably more, although then it becomes confusing for the average person)

(Fwiw, I think fascism is generally on the "right," but can also include elements from the left. It's not totally clear cut.)

Spencer pretty much blocked the entire foyer making it impossible to get to the actual event. There were a couple of people yelling at him for being an anti Semite, not sure if that was picked up on the microphones, but there was one guy wearing a yamaka that was defending him. Probably a plant.

Hmm. I was listening to a CPAC representative on NPR this morning and they were railing about freedom of speech and how they encourage discourse even in the face of positions they universally condemn.

Guess not.

Left-Facist? This is like how the Reps call the Dems "The Party of The KKK" even though most KKK members vote Republican?

Yeah, it can't just be "liberalism vs. Conservatism" on a sliding scale. Need another axis like "government authority vs. private authority" or something like that.

Ew that disgustingly little sycophant that creeps up on him, sporting that identical haircut. What a loser.
