Rick and Morty is goddamn hilarious

Great and hilarious episode. Ending scene was fantastic lol

Was nice seeing Morty and Summer switch spots for an episode too.
 
Gotta say I didn't really care for this episode much. Too many of the jokes were too predictable, and futurama did the all-female-planet concept better in general. Did like the Zardoz head though (Harmon really has a thing for that movie I guess), and Morty's attempt to convince Rick to buy the sex robot. Just felt dissapointing compared to the rest of the season, especially Rick Potion #9. It's a shame too, because this was the episode I introduced my dad to the show on.

Agreed. Weak episode. Weaker than anatomy park by far.
 
There was also a Belushi reference lol Harmon's Jim Belushi hate continues. First in Community, then Harmontown, now Rick and Morty.

I'm aware that cable isn't bound by the FCC. But I didn't know Adult Swim would let that fly, especially so early in the night. I mean, earlier in the episode they bleeped what I assumed to be "pussies."

Before, [adult swim] usually upload their recent aired shows on their Youtube channel. However, more recent shows are being uploaded through their website like the recent episodes of Check It Out w/ Dr. Steve Brule. I bet the show will surface up on their website later on in the day.
 
can't believe I never knew about this show. Ended up catching it last night then I went back and watched all the episodes haha. Forgot all about sleep

This is the funniest cartoon on TV. We all need to enjoy this because by season 3 when it gets on Netflix. Everybody is going to jump on the bandwagon and it might get toned down.
 
The first 10 minutes are fucking golden. The rest of the episode though...is pretty good. Maybe it's just because Futurama's take on the Amazonian planet trope was so good it's clouding my judgement.

Felt the same. Great set up and pretty fucking crazy, rest was just good. Think there are better episodes.

Not bad but def. the weakest episode of the season but when the bar has been raised so high it's difficult to maintain it.
 
Dont really get the whole weak episode bit, I laughed a good amount. M. Night Shaym-Aliens! was the low point of the season for me, I really only laughed at some of the side plot bits.

Didn't expect to hear several people call it a weak episode. I loved it personally. Even got a bit of feels when Morty saved his son's life.
 
Yeah i dont really care to rank them, atleast until we get a couple of seasons. They all have their own hilarious quips and they take the meaning of misadventures to the highest (or lowest) level. Freaking Morty had a son with a sex robot in this episode.

Thanks for pointing that out. Did not understand that reference, but still cracked up. Heh I do know there was a Zardoz reference in last weeks episode of Community too
 
My sister is one of the animators for this. She said they are close to finishing the season.

I haven't watch any episodes yet but now I'm intrigued.

This. I have loved every one.

I am always confused when this phenomenon pops up on GAF. Episode rankings generate a surprising amount of chatter in the True Detective thread as well.
 
I love ranking anything and everything, but I'm not going to rank the episodes of this show.

This one was the weakest though, while still being very good. Some of the jokes about the female rulers were a little too obvious. I'd say 6 > 2 > 5 > wait no, stop.

Considering there are only four episodes left, the animation delay must be incredible. How long does it take to get from finishing the animation to airing the episode?
 
Took me 3/4 of the episode before realizing that Claudia Black was doing one of the voices.

This show is further legitimized!

If you never watched Farscape you probably wouldn't know who she is though.
