Rick and Morty is goddamn hilarious

I think "evil" Morty was born smarter then his Rick but, couldn't do anything about being a sidekick because of the Rick/Morty relationship. Evil Morty killed his Rick for freedom and uses fake Ricks to make sure no one can find about his true nature.

Cold blooded evil Morty using all of those other Mortys in a torture device...

I think the evil Morty is still fond of his Rick since he didn't have to use a fake one.

The show's Rick stated his location was way off the grid and he admitted he wanted to be found.

So now what is he going to do? Somehow prevent other Mortys from returning to their universes in order to avoid detection?

Nah, not really.
Most of adult swim's high profile animated content like the Venture bros, the Boondocks, ATHF goes to DVD and Bluray so imagine this will too.
Is this really on Boondocks- or ATHF-level yet though? If it is and the chances of a physical release are good, then that is awesome. It's just that for every Metalocalypse or Squidbillies or Boondocks or Sealab DVD I buy, there will still be a 12 Ounce Mouse, Stroker and Hoop, or China IL that I can't.

I just love how R&M manages to be clever, funny and even a little heartwarming (without being sappy). This show really is the best thing on TV right now.

Hopefully Evil!Morty shows up again. I wanna know what that kid's DEAL is.

That reveal left me legit shook. This show is gatdang incredible. At first I thought they would reveal that the Nice Rick was behind it all, but having Morty be behind it is genius. There's a whole character arc there revealed by just having him remove his mask. My goodness.

I watched the episode again and here's what I think:
evil morty and nice Rick(Rick g-190 something I forgot) are related like most of you said.

Evil morty messed with nice Rick and made him dumb and all that making him eat shit and then he created the android Rick which he controls. Also something I noticed is that when android Rick was explaining the list of good and evil ricks, he said something about the Rick between him and the main Rick being weird, note that android Rick isn't a real Rick so maybe the Rick he said that was weird was the nice Rick.

last but not least the "morty ticket". Raemember that when the council reached the place and Rick asked what would they do with all the morty's he said they would live a normal life, go to school, etc and he then said "poor rickles bastards". Maybe every time a morty dies they will pull a rickles morty from his timeline and give him to a mortiless Rick

Maybe the thing that regular rick and nice rick have in common is they actually cared about their Morty..... When Robot Rick got at Rick and said "if there is one constant in the multiverse its a rick not caring about his Morty". I began to think maybe thats why he was such a loner. He rather spend time with his family than with other Ricks (aka himself). Whereas most ricks live together in their pocket dimension.

I think this actually puts a hamper on the theory that the Rick we know now has actually jumped from universe to universe whenever he messes up like in Rick Potion #9 and leaving each universe's respective Morty's to die or to their respective doom. You could see how much Rick loved his Morty in that mind-collection sequence, and generally how he didn't give a shit about the other Morty's.

I have a different theory to everyone else.

I think the evil Morty was regular Rick's creation. Near the end of this ep, Rick tells Morty:

'Just don't get too big for your loafers. A cocky Morty can lead to some big problems. It can be a real bad thing for everybody.'

'Oh yeah, how's that?'

'I'll explain when you're older.'

I bet the robot Morty we see in the show's intro is part of Rick explaining that story. A story of how his robot Morty got too smart for his own good.

It could be a DMV-style matter where taking residency in a non-native universe just requires some paperwork afterwards with the Council of Ricks, and that the original Rick and Morty in that universe no longer occupied it. Given that the "Good Ending" universe in Rick Potion No. 9 had its local Rick and Morty
blow up just in time for "our" Rick and Morty to move in,
and the Cronenberg Rick and Morty moved into the "Bad Ending" universe, it was probably just really fortunate coincidence that both ended up with places to stay.

In hindsight, maybe Rick wasn't saying they could only pull the universe-hopping saving throw a few times because there were only a few instances where everything turned out okay - there's practically unlimited alternate universes, most of which seem pretty catered towards the vanilla human Rick and Morty - he was saying it because the proverbial paperwork behind it sucks. You've got to make sure all your loose ends are tied up, it's habitable for you and your Morty, the Council of Ricks have to approve it, etc.

I honestly don't think that Rick would go out of his way to massacre himself a bunch of times over, he was just enough of a pragmatist to take an opportunity where he saw one.

I suppose so, but they took up residency relatively quickly and sat in quite comfortably. It could be assumed I suppose that Rick filled out the paperwork later, but unlikely, although that does sound like a very Rick-and-Morty ish idea haha kudos for coming up with it.

This show just keeps getting better. All they need to do is keep the continuity, have muti episode arcs, and add a few more interesting recurring characters or find ways to keep fleshing out the main cast .By season 3-4 if done right I could see it on the same level as Venture Bro's easily.

Watching the replay and "Also every 10 seconds it stabs your balls" followed by all these delivery orders is still hilarious

Thinking about it ... is the eye-patch Morty Our Rick's original Morty?

Saw it posted else where but we see Rick's memories of baby Morty and seeing him grow up which made him tear up ... but that day apparently marked the "1 year" mark for Rick being back after being gone for much of Beth's life.

And on top of that he seems to know what can happen when a Morty gets too confident/ get's out of hand. And on top of ALL that this Morty was trying to frame our Rick for w/e reason.

I could see the case being made that this Rick lived with his family more so than the the other Ricks and he doesn't chill with them cause unlike them he prefers his family and cares about his Morty.

Awesome episode. I love the crazy song montage endings we've been getting. I was shocked Blonde Redhead was one of them.

lmao oh damn this show.

My guess is that our Rick is from another universe where his Morty died. Then he tried to build a robot surrogate, because he missed his Morty. The robot surrogate Morty became too smart (cocky)/evil and Rick left him - causing robot/evil Morty to want to hunt/kill/frame our Rick.

OR somehow that robot Morty IS a replacement Morty that Rick gets after our Morty dies. Then add time-travel and dubulububuduuub!

Damn, I love this show. My crazy speculation from the last episode:
I'm hoping they pull a crazy twist and have it be that (the) Morty created Rick -- all the Ricks. And in turn, created himself. Would be a fun paradox.

Kinda feels like something this show would pull.

Damn...great episode...one of the few shows that gets better and better....and that is one hell of a bad guy for a comedy show
EDIT:
loved that it seemed to set up the doofus rick as being the bad guy, but instead t being morty was great

Like that its turning into Adventure Time with the care they are bringing to the backstory of the universe the show resides in

I've heard a lot of good things about this show, so I gave it a try. Within seconds I realized it was the same guy who does the voice of lemongrab on adventure time and could no longer watch. That voice is like a hot nail driven into my ear

Had the same reaction...the voices calm a bit after the first few episodes...youre really missing out

Judging by your avatar, if you love the stories of Futurama, you'll probably love the stories of this show.

Cant say it enough how much better the show has gotten...first few episodes were basically R-rated Futurama, but lately the show has been a scifi dream of references and turning tropes on their head....the fact they included a Needful Things and Zardoz episode puts thm even above Futurama as far as scifi goes
