Eh sorry doesn't look 'ridiculously jacked' to me, its just the typical cartoon-y like big guy/heavy/muscle guy body design.
I do digress though that it might be because I am used to Tiny's design from the crash games-

...and see the way that character's body is built/drawn to be more of a cartoony look which I apply to the Boom Knuckles design.

Now the Gears of War images? I can see that >_>;
