No... not like Noah. Noah was a complete clusterfuck of epic proportions even when it tried to make sense (which was very very rarely). It was like watching some horrible accident - you just couldn't look away even though you knew it was shit.

The story of Noah doesn't even make f'n sense to begin with, so I don't see that much of a issue with the new film.

Yeah, I dunno why I said seven. Guess it's been awhile since I've read Exodus.

Well, there certainly are a lot of sevens in the Bible. In the book of Revelation there are seven churches, seven angels to the seven churches, seven seals, seven trumpet plagues, seven thunders and the seven last plagues.

Stupid take on the story, just like Noah. Moses didn't need to shoot arrows. By having Moses and Co. act like regular American movie characters in a typical antiquity warring situation, the story becomes devoid of its actual cultural character. They Nolanified it. Horrible. It basically feels like Moses and his people didn't need any help, that was just for show, Moses would have fought the pharaoh in some duel, impaling him with his staff.

lol

And your last sentence is literally Gladiator.

This is how I feel about it; a Hollywood bastardization of the tale. Still, it certainly looks gorgeous.
