Right-wing pundit demands to know Prez candidates views on Mass Erect

I am ashamed this guy thinks he is a member of my party. I don't begrudge a man uninformed opinions, but he is blatantly lying and has obviously not even done the must rudimentory research on his subject. That is just bad journalism.
just looking at the current breadth of political candidates "Republican" means a *lot* of different things right now. you'd be hard pressed to find a unifying thread in the various platforms.

...and the wing-nuts that are ostensibly "on your side" are invariably more infuriating than those of the alleged opposition.

it *is* good to be able to mentally blacklist sites that obviously have no regard for *truth* though. i'm quite happy to read dissenting opinions, but i'll avoid pure lying propaganda, thanks.

The sad thing is that people like this have a lot of influence (Even if it is just with people stupid enough to listen). They also don't need to back up any wild claims they make.

Journalism has come to a point where opinion pieces are taken as fact, and it's a scary thing when such a thing happens. If you see it in print or in a column it automatically appears factual, sort of like seeing something on TV.

Quick, someone send him a link to Battle Raper. Perhaps then he'll see the difference between "virtual orgasmic rape" and Mass Effect's "sex" scenes.
Maybe the shock will put him out of his misery

I have no problem with opinions. I have a major problem with lies.

"Mass Effect is a game for sex-starved sinner" is perfectly ok with me, as long as it's backed up in some way.

"Mass Effect has graphic sexual encounters" is never ok, as it is a lie.

Why am I getting Ann Coulter banners while reading this thread? :lol
At the top I got offers for a free Newt Gingrich newsletter and at the bottom I got offers for a free Ann Coulter news letter. Those Google context engines work pretty well . . . . well sorta.

Well, I guess it is progress when these people need to pay for advertising just to give away their BS.

I can't stop laughing at this thing. I'm pissed that no research was done, he justs makes shit up as he goes, but I can't stop laughing while reading this article.:lol

When opinion pieces contain facts (as they all do for evidence) then those facts are subject to scrutiny. If those facts are incorrect, it isn't even an opinion piece . . . it is just a work of fiction.

And it is one thing to unintentionally get little details wrong. However, when one makes factual assertion after factual assertion and those factual assertions are largely untrue, it is plain malicious misleading propaganda.

There is virtually no way that article could have been written w/o malicious intent. It contains numerous factual assertions that are all demostrably false. I'm a pretty strong defender of first amendment rights . . . but I'm starting to think that our political discourse has become so poisoned with such malicious misleading propaganda that we need to start allowing people like that to be taken to court and punished with massive fines.

How can people make educated voting decisions if the political discourse is filled with so many lies?

Call into that radio station to discuss this topic . . .

But you might want to call in here to get an in-videogame revenge on this clown:

Oh. . . the above is an in-game radio statio for GTA IV. http://www.wkttradio.com/

I was just thinking . . . someone could read back some of the over-the-top stuff from that article verbatim into the http://www.wkttradio.com/ radio statio and if it ended up the in the game, there would be no line between reality and parody.

Seriously, can some one tell this guy that it was just two ladies having sex, not two dudes.

I think that would calm him down.

This is republican national radio. you will get muted, have your words twisted, and be ridiculed about words that never came out of your mouth. Its quite entertaining to listen to as entertainment, but listening to them "discuss" a topic you disagree with can be quite aggravating.
