Still bullshit to say that they're the pretty much the exact thing. I don't feel the need to go into it, but with this logic being gay is the same as being a murderer or any horrible habit persecuted by civilized man. It's dumb to put it this way.

Besides, one is who you're attracted to being the same sex and the other is being attracted to minors who have no idea what the hell is going on. If it involves RAPE, then it is wrong.

No. He liked being around kids so people thought he was a pedophile but when you look at his whole life he just wanted to stay a kid and live like one(look at his home for god sake).

I'm not going to derail this thread into this further (and I don't want to get banned) but I think you guys bash Guybrush just because you don't want to hurt anyone by comparing them into what you define as monster (Pedophiles). If you think about it, intellectually, he's pretty much right. Whatever though, this is not the thread for this discussion.


I was never a fan, but I did enjoy his music, RIP.

Oh I agree there. I think it should be obvious that pedophelia is still absolutely wrong to act on, but Guybrush didn't really put it that way.

O hell yeah. I was at a Halloween Rave some years back and the closing song was Thriller at like 5 in the morning. Everyone was going nuts. Fucking Awesome.

Again, while he may not be dead, if he wasn't breathing when they found him and he's in a coma now, odds are he'll at the very least lose significant functionality in his limbs, brain, etc... odds of a successful comeback tour are roughly zero. It would honestly probably be better for his legacy for him to die now.

I can kind of see where he's coming from with this - they're both mental quirks that result in (I'm saying this in the least offensive way possible) abnormal sexual characteristics. The difference is that one is okay to act on, the other usually involves rape. It's not his fault if he's a pedophile, it's his fault if he actually molests kids.

Not phrased well at all, though.
