FF13 is maybe not the best game ever but it is seriously better than most reviews make you think of it. It is not is the same gameplay category as DA or DS so I think it is unfair to campare it to these but in standard JRPG it is on the top of this gen. TOV is a very good tales game but not better than FF13 as Jrpg.

Well I pulled the trigger on FF13 (360...I know, I know) but I was going to download my Jirachi pokemon from Gamestop anyway and they have that sweet trade in deal (40 off of FF with two games from a list) plus the 50% bonus on other trade-ins so I got Bruetal Legend and FF13 new for 5 bucks.

So how long is HL2 Episode One supposed to be? I'm moving through chapter four (of five, according to the level select screen) and I'm only 90min in.

I'm loving the game btw, Valve redeemed.

Ep 1 is really, really, really short; it's more of an epilogue to vanilla HL2, considering that you end up going through the game backwards.

Ep 2 is longer and doesn't suffer from the same sense of déjà vu that Ep 1 does due to being set largely in the wilderness outside of City 17.
