Rock Band Platform |OT|

So since I started using exclusively Lightning, Fang and Hope I've totally stopped leveling the other 3 characters. Is this a bad idea? I'm deep into chapter 11, there isn't a part where I get split up again is there? Although I could easily dump the 350,000 CP I have if that point comes.
 
YEah well I fail, was busy with preparation for my son'S birthday and forgot that yesterday was the day tickets for Iron maiden were put on sale in montreal, guess what ... none available anymore :(

edit: Well after some research there are some but they are so far away that it would be better to watch the BR on my home theater so it is not sold out just nearly sold out only some grey and blue seats left :(

Oh and yeah montreal loves IM

I was gonna pick it up but its kind of pointless with FF13 lying there. I'm planning on getting all the weapons and everything so I'm not gonna play GoW 3 for at least a couple of months.
 
A friend will host a RB Party next weekend because of Lady Gaga, it is the first time other person than me will do this....

so this will be definitely more fun.

that's all super early dlc.


also, elements is diverse as fuck on drums. it's a shame the hardcore 'chugging' sections are in the song. 80 pts well spent
 
Question: I noticed you can get the AC/DC pack disk for cheap pretty much anywhere and I was wondering if you can play this without the RB1/RB2 disks?

I have all the RB instruments but no game, will the AC/DC disk work?
 
Yeah, you can play AC/DC without the core game. If it's a new copy, you'll also get an export code to transfer them to RB1/2 when you do get around to nabbing that.

These were RB's first 80pt songs and were also released on Christmas after everyone opened up their RB bundles.
 
One thing I noticed is that all the songs in the top 10 came out before 2009 before Activision killed music games. Think if Rust in Peace had came out in 2008. It probably would have sold 5 million by itself. :(

No it wouldn't. All the songs in the top ten are easy and popular music. Except Metallica but they are more popular than Megadeth and it came out the Christmas RB was released so everybody got it.

Guys, FF13 is now awesome but I'm kinda overwhelmed with the system and a little confused. First off, for the crystarium system, I filled out the spaces for all the jobs and its still level 1...what? Also, should I do anything specific with regards to jobs and characters? Or just kinda do whatever? I just don't wanna fuck this up lol

Pick a role for each character that's their main, and then build up two other roles for them as well. You kind of have to go in a certain direction for most characters. You will want to get the role level for each class though once it's open. The benefits are huge. In the early part of the game the Commando and Ravager and Medic roles are all you need, but later you seriously rely on a Sentinel and, to a slightly lesser extent a Synergist. So pick your main character and balance him or her with magic and strength, then pick your two other characters and the Medic/Ravager go with magic and the Sentinel/Commando go with strength. You really can't go wrong in the early part of the game though, just max everything out that you're given. You are capped for like 3/4 of the game so you can't totally fuck up.

Classes only level up when you unlock the "role level" spheres. Role level is not crystarium level. Also just level up whatever because you're gonna have enough cp to level all three of each character's main roles.

I'm at the end of chapter 12 and this is probably in my top 5 FF games btw.

I got this the other day but still haven't watched it yet. :/

Hmm...Yea I'm just a little confused about whether I want Lightning to be my main with commando...I haven't fucked around with the game enough obviously but at this point sentinel is nothing to me and even trying to play around with the different paradigms, I got a little pissed at level of control. There's the one paradigm, Tri Delta, which I like using because its good for staggering but whenever its on, Lightning becomes a little pussy and her only attack is Thunder which does no damage so I end up just changing back to Relentless Attack and then whenever I'm low on health, I just switch to healing class.

Also, TP...in the beginning, I got TP but its at level 5 for the last 30 minutes...I know its used for techniques but I don't know really at this point where to unlock more techniques.
