Ha this thread delivered so far. First the RPS joke then all the reaction posts(I assume most of them were also jokes) made me smile. If I am wrong and they aren't all jokes then the day has finally come when the PC is now part of the consoles wars and no positive PC related thread can be made without people talking about how overrated the PC is. I feel like we have entered the big leagues.

Regular PC threads have been the place of ultimate warriors in forum valhalla lately. As the bell of news rings an army of warriors runs to the battleground like PCP endowed jackals shaking the thread as vigorously as possible.

Honestly never had a BSOD since I moved to win 2000, then XP, then Seven.

So yeah, I've been PC gaming for 20+ years and most of that time has been spent without the fear of BSOD.

I can't see it but can almost guarantee fan-wanking of the highest order. Yes PC is greatest gaming machine of all that can do 4K resolution on ALL THE GAMES EVER MADE with 120 FPS and PC gaming is so cheap thanks to Steam, GOG, GMG and those other distribution platforms that they may as well be giving away games for free.
You can also play PC games on your couch thanks to big picture mode and stuff like AMD's Mantle will give much higher performance for lower cost while nVidia's G-SYNC will ensure those crystal clear graphics appear crystal clear on your giant monitor.

More people should play on PC and ignore the evil console makers who only want to invade your privacy and air your dirty laundry to the NSA. They should stop making consoles and bring all the Mario's and Zelda's and Killzone's to the PC where they can reach there true potential and have access to unlimited power.

Really because when I played Dark Souls it was running at 1080p. Steam and Origin are good for the competition. They're great. No need for a used game market when you get games for cheaper. Windows 7 and Windows are great products. I don't get the hate.

I completely disagree. I want to play in my comfy couch because I'm tired of using a computer all day at work. Not to mention that developers coding to the metal in next-gen consoles will produce the most amazing graphics in recorded human history. I'm getting a PS4 because GDDR5 will make a huge difference in Sony exclusive titles.

Big Picture mode on Steam?

PC can't even party chat like XBAWKS and no PSN+ free games.

Who wants a PC anyway? You can get a more powerful WiiU for less money and it has more games.

Skype, TeamSpeak, chats built into games, X Fire, Mumble, and Ventrilo are just a few chatting programs. Humble Bundles are basically free games (5+ at a time for a price you name).
