Congrats! It's definetly well deserved amazing game. I suck horribly at it but I still love it. I plan on buying all DLC when I get paid just to show support.

and some people say names don't matter, this is the exact same game as the ps3 version, prettier and with a different name and BOOM! there you go

Rocket League will be known as the greatest video game of all time. Aliens will find carvings on stones about that sick aerial goal Rob made with 0 on the clock.

Congrats, but god damn are the servers unstable. Love the game, been here since the prequel. Its just that the lag is unbearable sometimes.

Can you do mixed local/online, i.e. a friend comes over and we play in splitscreen against other people online? I don't really feel like dealing with rude randoms, but it'd be tolerable if I was playing with a real-life friend at my side.

Yes. Up to four people.

Well deserved. Psyonix has been on beast mode with content updates and the cross-platform multiplayer. It's also one of the most pure fun games to hit any platform in years.

And we now have a new contender for the most overrated game of all time.

it's a good game but man this success is baffling.

Another question: If a friend comes over to play in splitscreen, and we go online, is there a way to guarantee we're on the same team?

Shouldn't you always be on the same team?
Well, take Warhawk for example, on PS3: In that game there was a chance you'd be placed on different teams, even when playing in splitscreen, unless you toggled on options to be grouped together.

game came out of nowhere for me.

only tried it at first because it was "free" with PS+, got hooked and upgraded to the PC version and here I am 600+ hours later.

Anyway yea as long as you're split screen you'll always be grouped together online unless you play private matches.

It was free on the best selling console this generation. It's $20 if you didnt catch it then, has been on sale a few times with free weekends, has been getting a bunch of free updates, and is viable for both competitive and casual play. The success is anything but baffling.

Awesome game, one of my favourites and I've sunk a lot of time into it. However, an absolutely terrible community IMO. Most seem to quit as soon as they are down by one. I've seen my team and opposite teams go through like 10 players in a round.

So good. It's been almost a year and I still play it virtually every day. The only game that made me stop for a week or so was Stardew Valley, lol.

Got to play this for the first time during the weekend.

This game is fucking addictive and I was hot garbage the entire time.

Not sure if serious...or troll bait.

It's one of the most pure fun games I have ever played. No bullshit. Hell it's even fun when you are getting destroyed, and not many games can make that claim.

I would never have expected this. Congrats to the team.

I played this at a friends house and thought it was horrible and boring (race car soccer is not my thing I guess) so I just couldn't get that this was going to explode in popularity. Seems to be the next Minecraft phenomenon or something in the making (and to be honest I think Minecraft is no fun either lol).

Glad to see Supersonic Acrobatic Rocket-Powered Battle-Cars hit the bigtime. It only took 8 years, a name change, and some cosmetic surgery.
