I think this is still more likely to be an impulsive act by a bunch of idiots then some false flag op. That the guy is a wannabe actor just makes it more plausible, the kind of ego that makes someone go 'I'm an action movie star' is the same that thinks 'The People will rise once I make the first move'.
In the state Venezuela is in it's also not strange he was not shot down. They probably called him first when the news came in that a helicopter was dropping bombs (if any bombs were actually dropped, I read it was only a tear gas canister that did not work) since he was the pilot for the federal police.
