However, for Sanofi to pretend like acting like an angry and aggressive whackjob isn't a potential side effect when it says it on the God damn site for the drug that such behavior IS a side effect, is absolutely ridiculous and can inadvertently lend credence to Roseanne's story, thus undermining certain criticism's of her.

Agreed, though I would argue it was a deliberately (albeit poorly) worded tweet to push the idea that "Ambien doesn't cause racism!" - even though it does lower your inhibitions just like alcohol. I have had enough experience to know that well.

It is a very understandable train of thought, and it is depressing that you can't see past your hot take to have an actual conversation about it.
