RT Civil War Character Poll Results

Black Widow, Captain America, and Iron Man had the best moments from a character depth standpoint.

Most fun, however, were Spiderman and Antman for me. Falcon was cool too.

Also, I felt really bad for Bucky throughout - the poor guy can't even control himself and is treated horribly by everyone who isn't Cap. Stark doesn't even apologise to him when he finds out that he was wrong in trying to get him imprisoned.
 
I picked Spider-Man, Scarlet Witch and Vision. Sure, they're not the focus or move the plot along that much-- but they were the most interesting/fun characters to watch (for me).
 
Ant-Man, Spider-Man, and Black Panther were the best for me. Glad to see them relatively high on the poll.

I'm surprised so many people loved Bucky. I'm not a big fan of him. On that poll, I'd rank him above Crossbones and Sharon Carter, but below everyone else. And I don't get the girls who find him so hot. Sebastian Stan looks weird to me.
 
What's Stucky? Bucky and Starks? Seriously ? There's shipping for them? How the hell did that happen.

At least I can understand if it's Cap and Bucky
 
Stucky sounds like a bad joke. Couldn't they have come up with something better?

Shame Hawkguy is only at 2%. Jeremy Renner is the realest motherfucker in the whole MCU. Loving the respect Black Panther is getting though.
 
Wow didn't realize Bucky was so popular, happy about that though as he is my favorite in these movies.

Sadly the other two I love got butcheted.

Sharon and War Machine getting ravaged.
 
Only 9% for Ant Man ?

the fuck is this shit ... easily the best one in the movie.

I mean... what does Sharon do all movie? She's fine, but it's not like she has any real moment to stand out with. Not like just about everyone else.

I voted for Sharon!! But I don't like War Machine. Didn't like the actor, now I dont like the character, he's just Tony's bitch and all governmental etc. Btw I preffered him played by Terrence Howard.

But seriously I admired her character in Winter Soldier, I liked her speech in Carter's funeral, she has convinced me as an Agent. I wonder if they are planning more for her.

I like Renner's Hawkeye, but the movies haven't really given him much of a chance to shine. I mean, in Avengers 1, he was brainwashed for most of the movie, and spent most of the final battle on the top of a building watching the battle. In Age of Ultron, the most notable things he did were have a family and give an inspirational speech to Scarlet Witch. And in Civil War, he didn't appear until over halfway through the movie, and anything cool he did during the airport battle was completely outclassed by other characters especially Ant-Man and Spider-Man.

I hope he gets to have at least one REALLY awesome scene before his contract is up.

I dunno, the thing I consistently enjoy with Hawkeye in general and with Renner's portrayal is that he is well aware with how overpowered everyone else is compared to him, but it doesn't keep him from taking the shots that count.

"The city is flying, we're fighting an army of robots... and I have a bow and arrow."

From shooting at Loki in Avengers 1, Loki smugly catching the arrow, only for it to beep twice and blow up in his hand.

And here, trapping Vision, catching Tony off-guard with a "made ya look" as Wanda lays it on, the combo with Ant-Man...

He's never central, but it always facilitates great moments.

Cmon dude ! Is that a spoiler ? In that case you should mark it as such. Not everyone read the comics.

Also vision is fantastic. But many of the cast are. Just because people don't vote for him doesn't mean they don't like him. Same as Scarlet Witch.

I knew after the Ant-Man vs Hulk Coke commercial at the Super Bowl that Marvel knew the character was a bigger deal for them then the box office showed.

Not only had that have to been an expensive commercial to make and put in a Super Bowl, they could have chosen to showcase any bigger named character. The views for that video on YouTube prove their decision paid off and Civil War helped boost his mind share. Ant-Man and the Wasp a hold get a nice boost.
 
Voted for Ant-Man, Spider-Man, and Black Panther. They pulled a three-day heist and stole the movie from everyone else. Stucky be damned, I came out of the movie waiting more of those three.
 
Bucky was great in it. I voted for Buck, Cap and Falcon but there were a lot of good perfomances in the movie (BP, Ant-Man and Hawkeye for me as well)

BP and Spidey had great introductions in the movie
