Stiller wearing that severed Panda head made me laugh so hard.

Personally I found it pretty obnoxious the first time I saw it and it has not improved with age. "Ironic" product placement euughh.

Its one of the best written movies in a long time as not only is it a huge lampooning of everything Hollywood but a really insightful look into what it means to act and be an actor. Some of the conversations and characters work on multiple levels while also being gut busting funny. Brilliant stuff that you rarely see in such a big movie.

Edit: Seriously the movie even works incrdedibly well on a meta narrative level with actors like Tom Cruise playing totally against type and in all kinds of make up and a fat suit to become Les Grossman. The movie does a ton to play on what it means to act and be an actor and isn't so simple as to portray it as just some great feat of dedication and passion but also something that plays into our petty human natures, especially arrogance and pride. I've written pages on this movie. I'm not sure if the intended to do all of this but its too well done and insightful not to be.

Robert Downey Jr. will be playing a Mexican in Jamie Foxx's latest film.

I'm black and didn't realize that that was Robert Downy Jr until I saw the movie. He looks completely black. It had me in stitches every time he was on screen.

Iv never met anyone who had a problem with that role in person.

I've always said the irony of their use of Blackface and satire in this movie is the Blackface actually looks good. LOL

Jack Black was forgettable for most of the movie but had the best punchline for the best joke of the movie, the Lance reveal. the entire theater was hysterically laughing at him telling the rapper he would suck his dick if he untied him.

And yes, great movie. one of the best comedies ive seen. RDJ and Tom Cruise killed it, but the panda scene had me in stitches.

Love it. The special features are a hoot too. Downey Jr's in character for almost everything.

Always thought this was the stealth beginning of the McConaissance.

Absolute gem of a movie. From the fake trailers in the opening to the credits, just pure brilliance. Re-watched it recently as well to see how it held up, and it's still laugh out loud funny.

Always thought this was the stealth beginning of the McConaissance.

Same.

Our asses don't get fragged in this bullshit valley, first thing I'm doin' is payin' my two bucks so I can watch Brooklyn bust his cherry on a sweet little mama son's dinky-down poon-tang!

LMAO

That kid that led the cartel or whatever was a badass. Has he been in anything else? I feel like I've seen him before.

Anyway... Nick Nolte was the best part of the film imo. Good to see him playing to his strengths

RDJ and Cruise are what made this. This is definitely still my favorite comedy the last decade by far. I do really think he would have won the oscar any other year, but ledger was too incredible.
